The matched BLE T bird set is seen rounding the corner into Fairlane. Everything seemed to go just right for us on this trip. After this shot we started to make our way back towards Duluth.

Sim -- Elysion
The city streets are empty now
(The lights don't shine no more)
And so the songs are way down low
A sound that flows into my mind
(The echoes of the daylight)
Of everything that is alive
(In my blue world)
I turn to stone when you are gone
I turn to stone
I turn to stone, when you comin' home
I can't go on
The dying embers of a night
(A fire that slowly fades 'till dawn)
Still glow upon the wall so bright (turning, turning)
The tired streets that hide away
(From here to everywhere they go)
Roll past my door into the day
In my blue world
I turn to stone when you are gone
I turn to stone
I turn to stone, when you comin' home
I can't go on
Turn to stone when you are gone
I turn to stone
Yes, I'm turnin' to stone
'Cause you ain't coming home
Why ain't you comin' home
If I'm turnin' to stone
You've been gone for so long
And I can't carry on
Yes, I'm turnin', I'm turnin'
I'm turnin' to stone
The dancing shadows on the wall
(The two-step in the hall)
Are all I see since you've been gone (turning, turning)
Through all I sit here and I wait
(I turn to stone, I turn to stone)
You will return again some day
To my blue world
As this short train continues to follow the shoreline of first Turnagain Arm, and briefly here as they turn North, Cook Inlet, they will turn Inland and cut through Anchorage before re-joining Cook Inlet for the last couple of miles to Anchorage Yard,

Last Sunday evening whilst out for our walk we noticed that many of the farmers were out busy in their fields, taking advantage of the lovely weather. Looking across to the right of the picture in the distance you can see the spire of St. Mary’s Church in the small village of Cottonstones.
Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
This was a tough scene to capture! Because of the sick dynamic range I decided to keep the filters in the bag and go for the multiexposure approach and blend manually. Even though I´m not thrilled about the final result, it did turn out quite nice. Hope it looks ok to you guys as well!
After switching Brenntag, NS local MU01 pulls up the wye at D&S junction before backing into the yard at East Durham seen here at Agier Avenue. Leading this day was First Responders unit 5642.
A rain/sleet/drizzle mix had just turned over to snow as this limestone empty curved under the DW&P at Munger.

Leaves from a Blueberry Ash (Elaeocarpus reticulatus) in the garden show the dramatic change in colour as the leaves decay. It is Spring here in Sydney, but the shedding of leaves is continuous throughout the year on this evergreen tree.
