This image comes from a series taken at Wakehurst Place, West Sussex - it's a National Trust property with botanical gardens, manor house, huge grounds including forests and lakes, and is also home to the millennium seed bank project.
This is the front of the Manor house- a late 16th-century country house surrounded by 20th century sculpted landscape gardens with various themes.
Barrington Court was the first property obtained by the National Trust in 1907. The Barrington Court Estate is the vision of Colonel Abram Arthur Lyle (of Tate & Lyle fame) and his architect, James Edwin Forbes. The Court House dates back to the 16th century.

After 5 years working with this wee chap trust is not an issue. Came so close DOF was to shallow. This is a two stack image :)
Set in its own extensive deer park, Belton was designed to impress. Built in the late 17th century for 'Young' Sir John Brownlow, it is one of the finest examples of Restoration architecture. Its honey-coloured symmetry, opulent décor, stunning silverware, imposing paintings and wonderful woodcarvings provided the perfect setting for lavish hospitality and entertainment on a grand scale. The house featured in the BBC's TV 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
