looking_glass: It looks like a painting--- what did you edit with? The curves on the cup are so smooth and the light so great.... Yes, hangovers are harder the older one gets. It's why I don't drink at all now =)

sanjayprasad: @looking_glass TrueHDR/TiltShiftGen/CameraBag with the ColourCross filter. I've found TrueHDR to be really good (following updates) when the iPhone is clamped or sitting on something so the images align perfectly. Not sure how I managed the patience to do it at the time :)

looking_glass: I have ProHDR. Have you used for comparison point? I really love the texture of the cup &sofa. It fascinates me. You had a lot of patience. Head fuzziness and slowing down helped here! =)

sanjayprasad: @looking_glass thanks Chi ;) Not tried ProHDR, keep on meaning to but have loads of apps I've got and still no used yet! To be fair the effect is all from the sunlight, it was a rare sunnyday in Manchester and the grain on the seats is new and therefore deep, the light really picked it up.

iwife: excellent filter choices. what a combo!

aneel: Beautiful

darynne19: Anyone noticed how much the handle on the coffee cup misses its other half?

Naked life. Tone mapped with TrueHDR.

Today I've suddenly noticed how dark it's getting here now in the evenings. I nearly missed the opportunity to take todays photo in daylight. Fortunately though I just managed to get this photo taken in the last few remaining minutes of light.

Photo taken & processed on my iPhone 3gs.

Daily App Experiment #199: "Tread Lightly" - Shot this photo with #TrueHDR, then ran it through #photowizard's "Game Boy" filter. I then took that image and merged it the original image using TrueHDR again. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment

I took this on a downhill section of Tantalus Drive with the sun began rising behind me.

Today I've spent the in a place called Östersund on the second date on the Dweeb Tour. Managed to get an hour of work in the afternoon and took these three photos down by the frozen lake.

Work made by 15 year old, female GCSE pupil as preparation work for module based around Surreal Entertainers.

Image made entirely on iPad 2.

Pupil dressed model then took several photographs in classroom using Top Camera app. 2 photographs were placed together in TrueHDR app to create overlap and then colours altered in PhotoStudioHD app. This image is 1 of 28 variants that were produced.

One of yesterdays photos that I didn't get a chance to edit yesterday. So had to edit and upload it today instead.

The light and geometry in this location provided some interesting variations.

These images were done using the excellent iPhone app Camera+ which allows you to set a focus point independent of the exposure point. I processed in LR3 because I like the NR for low-light iPhone 4 images. Note that noise looks pretty good here, and the monofilament line still has integrity, even into the black.

[Not these, but I first shot some with the app trueHDR. They looked like crap with banded noise and weird color shift. I was able to take advantage of those distortions with DxO FilmPack2 and make a very cool, artsy, red, grainy image. (but that's a different story) ]

Ready for Governor Abercrombie's inauguration on Monday, 6 December 2010.

Daily App Experiment #289 "iPad vigil" - as I headed to Dolores Park

for the makeshift memorial for Steve Jobs last night, I new lighting

would be problematic. I brought some of my own lights, but my shots

just weren't coming out at all. So I thought I'd try making use of

some of the powerful flashes that other photographers where using when

I got this shot. It was taken with the normal camera app, but the

iPhone's rolling shutter effect ends up making the shot (that was

taken mid flash) look as if it was two different photos. I still had a

problem with graininess, so I used an app #perfectlyclear to create to

"smoothed" versions of the photo, one light and one dark, then I ran

those through #truehdr. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment

Daily App Experiment #259 "Gypsies" - Note: to view this full series, click on my profile, so you can see the 16 total pieces. I shot this app in #hipstamatic, then creates two different versions in with Camera+. I then used #truehdr to combine the two versions. Finally, I used the #tiler app to break this photo into 16 squares.

Shot and edited on my Iphone, with TrueHDR, Tiltshift Gen, MillColour and uploaded with flickit.
