Of course, the main target of the day was the rush hour train out of Strasbourg, into the "Vosges": a very green part of the Grand Est region.
After the shot on the Viaduc de Fouday and thanks to the smooth progress I could make on D1420 which lies next to the railway line, both twisting trough the valley, a second shot of TER 831826 to Saint Dié des Vosges was possible just after it had left Saales.

Evening sail with magnificent clouds and fog rolling through the Lake District mountain landscape and over the lake waterscape. Moment captured just off the coast near Menaggio, Lake Como, Italy. Enjoy the view!
Thanks everyone for all the visits and kind feedback!
A southbound SBVR train passes alongside the South Branch of the Potomac as it enters a stretch known as "The Trough." The train would drop all but 5 cars at Pilgrims in Moorefield, then continue south to Petersburg.

This is a very large cattle watering trough which was behind a very old barn.
This barn I'm talking about can be seen in my photostream and its named ( GOOD OLD DAYS )
Beyond the watering trough past the fence is a large open cornfield.
The heavy overcast day gave me the opportunity to create a moody perspective in this capture!
I hope you enjoy this view and thank you for your support!!
God bless...
Light Streaming trough the trees of Sherwood Forest just off the A614 in Nottinghamshire. This is from a series of shots, a number of which I posted last year. In this version the contrast and the saturation have been boosted and the photo cropped.
Mt. Baring and glacial valley from Index Town Wall. Re-edited using luminosity masks, dodging, and burning.
Trough of Bowland, just a small part of it, you can have every habitat within it's boundary, we sat there with this view at the rear of us at the front Lapwings were calling and a Barn Owl flew about searching for food, possibly for it's mate sat on eggs.
I don't usually 'splain things ...but
