Short steep hike to get to this lovely location in the north of Zurich. The weather was very propice to this kind of photography. I love the tones in the green and the contrast of these garlic flowers providing. Just a little bit of mist being the atmosphere of this image together.

The Native American symbol for preparation, trust and thriftiness, is the squirrel.

Here's the porch from the link below seen from a different point of view. I love the balustrade and the potted plants.

Pretty much in the center of the pic, one can look through the twigs and leaves of the tree and see a piece of bluish hill. At the bottom of it flows the Hudson river. (almost white, just a tiny part of it seen)

My youngest grandson pointed this woodpecker out to me today, on our short walk.

On the dirt road from Tajique up to 4th of July Campground, one passes by the burn scar from a wildfire. This one stood out.

This was from 2015, in 2021 when last we were there, the burn scar was showing quite a bit of undergrowth coming back.
