The Lievensberg is a 127-hectare wooded estate east of the A58 at Bergen op Zoom.
The area consists of deciduous and coniferous woodland, some captured drifting dunes and approximately 25 hectares of heathland in the area. It is near the city and is visited by hikers. It is particularly accessible from the Balsedreef. That environment is beautiful park-like landscaped with heavy beech lanes, picnic areas, a heather garden and a pond. In the heather garden one can find 30 species of heather.
The area is owned and operated by the municipality of Bergen op Zoom, but a part is in use as a water Brabant Water, which has a production plant near New Borgvliet on the other side of the A58, Mondaf called.
Thanks for your visit and comments, I appreciate that very much!

Another forest walk and caught the sun just behind some lined trees on a small path. Attempted to process combining darkness in some lower shadows but smooth moody sunlight light behind the trees
There was very little happening in the silent marsh. It was the first partly sunny day of the year, and the last remnants of the season's one large snowfall were gone.
This Canada Goose put on a good show, slip-sliding across the frozen canal.
White Oak (Quercus alba) is an important lumber tree, used for furniture, flooring, and numerous other applications. For me, they are important for the remaining forests of Michigan.
I was lucky to find this mushroom, I don't know the name, if somebody can help me. There was a ray of light in front of it but the mushroom was in the shade. The weather forecasts are always wrong and the rain dissipates when it reaches our area, I don't know why. We really need the rain, all the ground is dry. Climate change is not in a good mood this year.
Thank you very much for your kind comments and visit, much appreciated!
Toadstools growing in a scar in a tree trunk at Greenhead, Cumbria England. Unfortunately, not quite at their prime and without the fairies.
Thanks for visiting. I appreciate the kind comments and faves which have been left very much.
Have a wonderful weekend not worrying about the future.

A simple celebration of the humble tree and the English winter countryside sky in golden hues. Some birds are resting on logs in the horizon.

Ist das nun Kunst?
Oder Natur?
Fantasie?
Realität?
Ehrlich - dieses Bild ist genau so fotografiert und nicht ein Pinselstrich hinzugefügt oder etwas retuschiert... Mutter Natur hat sogar ein bisschen Moos für die Unschuld beigesteuert ;-)))

A wonderfully conjured and twisted tree sitting hidden on a hill. The trunk was just fascinating as it seemed to be made up of multiple twisted and warped elements. Almost as-if sometime in the past it was hurt and then protected itself by growing multiple new trunks in all directions entwining the original tree trunk.
