Another tree trunk...what can I say? For quite some time I was obsessed with taking pictures of whole trees and/or just their trunks - in urban settings only (San Francisco, to be exact). Followed the fate of this old beech for years ... it is now not much more left than the trunk ... it was an emblematic tree in our park ... with my processing I wanted to add some mystery

They are the natural protectors of the Mango tree, when climbing the tree to pluck mangoes they swarm all over, very tiny creatures that can give a painful bite!
