A very large pine tree growing out of a hillside edge in the Colorado Rocky Mountains high elevation.
Love the curve and texture of the trunk.

My fascination with leafless naked trees in the late winter season continues. This very large cottonwood tree caught my eye how it branches out in perfect formation. Tree branches with colors of pink and purple in the background.

A cool perspective from the moss-covered water flumes curving through the fall foliage. Choosing a different view point makes all the difference in the world.

Angel or Demon?,
who really knows?
The question here
is super imposed.
Which one is it?
How do you know?
Which creature is which?
we may never really know.
I suppose.
The word Druid actually comes from the Celtic word for Oak, 'Duir'. The Druids also believed that the Oak tree is host to the strength and energy of their gods and so to catch a falling Oak leaf brings good luck and prosperity. In mythology, the Irish Oak symbolises truth, courage and wisdom

This minimalist photograph captures the tranquil beauty of nature as leafless tree branches stretch across a crystal-clear sky . The stark contrast between the dark twigs and the vibrant sky creates a calm, serene mood—an ode to seasonal transition and natural stillness.
Dark trees on the road at night,
Often creep me out.
They move and twist in strange ways, that keep me looking up.
How often we think we see, something in the branches.
If we only knew the upside down world existed, we may have looked harder.
For there they are in the soft moonlight, dancing as if we never existed.
Someday they will come for us, for all they have lost.
Forest and fields in a twisted revenge.
Keep looking up!
Watercolor and gold acrylic on linen. Embroidery stitches in silk and cotton. A work in progress....working on a series of these.
This piece is named Indian blanket because that's what it reminds me of.
It was created by taking a photograph of two maples standing side by side, where one lost leaves on one side facing the other tree and same with the other tree. Thus making it look as if one tree was half yellow and half red. when it was actually two trees with only half their leaves on one side each. I then mirrored it several times for this effect. Applied HDR once for a little brightness in the colors.

This collage was made entirely from magazine strips with a technique I call "painting with paper." I cut the paper into different shapes and layer them in such a way that they look almost like the brushstrokes in a painting.
If you have any questions about this piece, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment.
