Walking on this glade in the winter you will notice a hefty stand of fully grown oaks about the size of a ornamental tree. Taking a picture of one is not as impressive as seeing a group positioned in a linear series. I like looking at bare trees as much as the ones fully leaved out. Its the skeleton of the tree exposed.

Trees and trees!

Flying up from beneath the ground.

Messages passed between to spaces.

Captured in this image, an angel I have found.

If your quick, sometimes you can see their faces.

When the eyes catch the first fall light. Many colors come into view.

Do you see them? all the colors, reds and yellows in many a hue.

Dancing in the fall crisp air, dancing everywhere for you.

Brilliant and beautiful all over the place, as we watch in wonder as they fade out of view.

In my mind I see them

lurking in the old world roots.

Looking out from beneath the moss, covered in muck and filth, they seek out souls with there snoots.

The demons climb out one by one, following the branch's out into the world, wearing suits.

Screaming loudly and frighting as they go, scary, nasty, hellish brutes.

Eating souls and haunting the minds, they find there victims and send the leftovers down the chutes.

Angels rush in, in our defense, chasing them back to the darkest of places. Singing and playing there sweet soulful flutes.

No signs of worship. No footsteps leading here.

And yet it stands, a crown of branches, carefully arranged,

as if the forest itself has memory and intention.

It’s not mine, but I feel its pull.

A structure with no builder, an altar with no offering,

built from the ruins of storms and time.

Maybe for gods we forgot,

or for something still watching....

Love the springtime snow storms with the wet snow that sticks to everything. Like waking up to frosted flakes. Everything glazed in white. The naked cottonwood trees frosted in white.

Into the unknown,

as explorers often do.

Seeking answers to questions,

answers only found in

something new.

Love, land, riches and fame,

sought by more than a few.

So into the unknown they

take the first steps into a

place were strange things grew.

Thus, the tale of an adventure

begins to brew.

Into the unknown where things

seem stranger than we can

imagine at any zoo.

Creatures and plants of all shapes

and sizes, that creep out after you

Begin your own adventures, seek

your own tale to tell, with desires and

dreams like those of the few.

It begins in the unknown.

Playing on the forest floor.

Drifting of to dream some more.

Green surrounds the senses and opens a door.

Day dreaming of a topsy turvey forest core.

Sunlight light and shadows dance and soar.

Cute tree art in a Malmö Park. Taken in the autumn, hence the vibrant background colours.

This is a re-upload of the photo, with new framing and no distracting watermark.

This is my number one favorite.

The stump it came from looked

as if its soul was trying to get

my attention.

Being one of my first trees to be mirrored,

I have kept it as my profile a long time.

Taken and created in Grayling Michigan.

The royal feathers on

the crown with heart,

has a secret to impart.

Find the key

in the subconscious mind,

seek me out and you will see

all the earths secrets

revealed the truth will be.

Pay attention to the world around you!

Nature speaks often, we just do not hear it.

Many believed that trees possessed a unique energy, a life force that could be transferred to humans through physical contact. In Native American cultures, for instance, the act of hugging trees was seen as a way to connect with the wisdom of nature and to heal both body and soul

Madeira is one of the most wonderful places I have been. This remarkable tree immediately caught my eye. Luckily my husband wanted to be my model.

This double exposure I made, remembered me of Fanal, a wonderful place on Madeira. You probably know it already. If not, make sure you do because it's magical over there. We were there two years ago. Now we are in Tuscany, making new memories.
