Golden Mimosa Tree (Acacia baileyana) as seen on a walk in San Jose, California. This tree has a very strong fragrance that you can smell half a block away.

Sometimes when I‘m out walking I get lucky and see a perfect shot. This was one of those moments. She had no idea I was taking her photo but I just couldn’t pass this opportunity.

Strong sunlight hit this tree for about 20 minutes warming up the bark enough to start steaming. Then a another shower of rain mixed with snow fell and the steaming stopped.
