What a stunning start to the day on Dartmoor it was yesterday morning, with lots of the white stuff around. We headed up to Sharpitor to make the most of it and it was good to see lots of other togs up there with the same idea.
This is a tree on one side of Sharpitor, looking down towards the sun rising behind Leather Tor.
I welcome any constructive comments that can help me improve.

This is my first time using photoshop. The original has the orange warning post, and no modifications. If you look, there are several faces in the trees, in the water, and in the bushes. The most it takes to see them is a good bit of imagination.

In the Amphitheatre Dry Garden of Nottingham University Park, its airy canopy of evergreen broad leaves and fresh scent are easy to appreciate when the sun shines at this time of year.
Headed out with Neet to shoot the bluebells at Roseberry Topping and bumped into the lovely Karen whilst out as well.
Roseberry topping itself was bogging with photographers and the light didn't really do anything interesting, so we stopped off at a nearby "field of yellow" to shoot an interesting tree.
The sky promised much but prety much failed to deliver, with all the clouds scooting off around sunset. None the less, a grand evening out was had by all.

The Bradford Pear, scientific name, Pyrus Calleryana, is an ornamental pear tree with small fruit approximately 1 cm in diameter. In North America the tree is often used in landscaping homes and businesses alike. The fruits, though popular with wildlife, are bitter and are not generally eaten by people. In recent years, it is thought the Bradford Pear has become invasive, growing in places where it was not planted. Beautiful white flowers in the Spring, and bright red leaves in the Fall make it a popular, if not problematic choice.

The light of a full moon illuminating the lone tree at Rydal Water one that I had forgot about on the hard drive the portrait version of one posted a while back.
I love this fall-colored tree shaped like a heart. Taken at Fancy Gap, Va., just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost 199.
This is most likely the last of the fall colors, as may trees are bare now, and it is colder, although no hard freezes yet.
