After a cold cloudy dull day there was a break in the sky just at sunset, enough to see this beautiful red light as it turned dark, This is one of my favorite trees in the town of Manorville, NY.
It's often said that our images are a reflection of ourselves. Given that, I thought this might be fun. Here's a little haiku.

The trees are quite beautiful at twilight in today's light snow.
Our Daily Challenge: Hidden In The Darkness
I had to walk a bit in the snow for this. I am a bit disappointed to be honest. Could not really edit it correctly.
I noticed some artefacts on the upper-left side on the sky , do know what it is?
I am a huge fan of Peter Lik and have found inspiration in his images, so it was pretty cool being able to see and shoot the iconic 'Tree Of Life' in Portland's Japanese Gardens. The leaves are just starting to turn color now, but should be a kaleidoscope of colors in the next two or three weeks.

Listening to the wonderful, soothing music of Jobim... trees reflected in the Illinois River Watershed at Cave Springs, Arkansas.
The gardens of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The colour version was OK, with the strong shadows cast by a very sunny day. However, I thought the B&W grainy conversion really emphasised these, along with the leaning-in effect on the trees, partly caused by a wide angle lens pointed upwards.
