Active Assignment Weekly: Something You Dislike
I was walking through the park this morning, looking for things I dislike, and I saw this waste receptacle with large bags of trash. I picked up one of the bags and turned it over. Then I took shots of the bottom of the bag. I absolutely dislike waste. I think Americans, especially, waste so much plastic and other products (food is a big one). Anyway, there was a lot of plastic in this trash bag, and it should really be in a recycle bin; however, I've been reading that most of what we recycle isn't even recycled. It's just something I've been conscientious about for awhile now, and I guess I can only do my small part. In pp, I enhanced the colors a bit for effect and increased contrast a tad.

They also have traveling exhibits, currently at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington DC, the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, and the Naples zoo in Florida.

Well, I got this idea yesterday and wanted to realize it as soon as possible. The shooting was pretty fast over and calming as well. I don't know. When I shoot outside I feel kinda under pressure. ^__^;
Also, I really enjoy to hear music while I'm taking photos. (<<< That's just possible when I shoot inside.)
Actually, this was meant to be black/white but I couldn't leave it like that. I kinda like to "dye" my photos. xD

Trash Art are recycled pictures of photos I have taken in Rotterdam buildings, street art, flowers, trees and brickwork grinding and pounding them into what I call Trash Art.
The trash clam lurks in the alley, absorbing nutrients from the vomit and piss provided by the current of strip club patrons.
Did this for the lovely Kopper who runs the Garage Punk hideout. It's for their next free compilation for members. Very happy about getting the job on this because one of my heroes Shawn Dickinson did the cover art for the 3rd one.

We put these out for the council kerbside pickup. They were gone before the council came by. Ancient ski boots in the plastic bags were taken as well... amazing

Walking through an old hardware store yesterday, I was inspired to take a photo of the lid of an old trash can. Art is subjective, but I like the result.
Brown Thrashers wear a somewhat severe expression thanks to their heavy, slightly down-curved bill and staring yellow eyes.
