We’ve had a busy Bank Holiday Weekend digging out concrete and rubbish from our garden and wheeling it up to a skip. I uncovered this piece of old glass and must have sub-consciously set it aside without even remembering this weeks task!

With Easter and Spring having arrived (although it is trying to snow today) there is an abundance of egg shells and deadheaded hydrangeas lying around waiting to be thrown away.

Poor Guys of the cleaning squad ! Some smoking people just left the hole trash! That`s a huge job to do for our little tiny helpers. Look how many cigarette filter tubes where chuck onf the ground. Not to mention all the trash ash that needs to cleaned up. Hurry up my little helpers...the citizens are willed to make an smooth Easter walkover and therefore it should be all cleaned up right in time. :)

Looking through the trash for inspiration I saw this wonderfully colourful Sensations Poppadoms Lime and Coriander packaging, conveniently on the top (so still nice and clean)

On the rear of the foil packaging was a small logo which was perfect for a macro shot.

.....and yes, they were very nice!

URBAN ADVENTURE..

Looking through the bottom end of a crushed , ready for the trash, plastic water bottle.

This switcher of the Maryland Waste Management facility at Annapolis Jct works hard every weekday morning switching trash cars into and out of the building to get loaded with garbage. On the rainy morning of Nov 11th, the gates for Brock Ridge Rd activate as the SW8 gives its all to get a long cut up the hill, to shove them into the yard shortly thereafter. Occasionally around mid-morning, their GP10 will take the loads to the CSX interchange directly behind the photographer, and retrieve empties in the afternoon. From there, CSX B738 runs a Mon-Fri trash train to Sealston, VA.
