This is probably my favourite of the images I took this afternoon. I appreciate the details in these flowers and the way the light enhances them. There is a luminosity about this image that I really like.

I have been looking at my many stored photos from over the years. I found and reworked this shot of these Columbines. I love the translucent quality of the petals.
Columbines are my favorite Colorado wildflower, they are so unusual and are so beautiful; I can never really capture the true beauty of this magnificent flower.
Thanks for visiting my photostream.

A small handful of translucent stones. Some are definitely quartz. All found along the beaches of Victoria, BC, Canada.
A night of celebrating the coming of 2012 at Dalila's House. While waiting for the steak, i setup my tripod, setup the camera, and try to take the picture of myself along the alley.
I let the first 5 seconds ticks, and then i stand up, and wait until it process.

Daily Dog Challenge - #5503 1/8 “Translucent”
Haven't taken much photo of Maggie since I gave her a new face.
I really like her in this black dress. Don't who made it, but it was a gift from dear Laura. Thank you Laura:)
I really love the translucent face, how her tone changes against different lighting.
Glass block window in our bathroom. This is the first house I have owned with these type windows. It's kind of cool because you can sort of see whats out side but not too clear. And amazingly enough they don't transmit a lot of heat. This window is over our tub which never gets used.
