"Apocalyptic Visions, Transformation Engines & the Evolution of Burning Man" was the title of my 45min Keynote presentation at the 2012 National MENSA Convention in Reno. I explained the historical components that were programmed into the BurningMan genome, the art of visual cortex imprinting, time distortion within the Zone, and what effect BurningMan was going to have on the future. My talk included a 15min Q&A, which stretched into an hour and a half.

For the last performance of the theater production "A Journey to Difference", the cafeteria on Campus Walfer was transformed into a theater house as best as possible.
Students from our Bachelor en Sciences de l'Education and students from the Neie Lycée were involved in the production of the play: writing, choreography, props, performing etc.
These were taken while i was helping my brother weld in our backyard, thought it was perfect for the challenge.

The only thing I did to this image was edit out a very small triangle where the sky was showing through. Can you spot where that was?

I love how the world begins to transform after the rain arrives. The fields, trees and sky are a constant source of changing forms and hues. Catching these colors in droplets has been my obsession this week and I'm sure will be for weeks to come. Have I mentioned lately how happy I am to have the rain back? Well, I am. ... And, pumpkin lattes are back too. I'm sure there will be pictures of them as well very soon.

Though the day was bitterly cold yesterday for our Fish Creek Park New Year's Day Bird Count, grasses and bushes were covered with ice crystals in places along the Bow River. Just too cold, though, to take more than a handful of photos.
