Transformation Tuesday? Standard Signal Company mechanical dwarf has gotten a new GRS Spec with new lenses, still on the fence with the long porcelain blade that needs to be restored but for now it sports an unpainted rubber blade and has a GRS lamp. Now sits inside next to my US&S mechanical dwarf from Ohio.

The star, the wheel, the butterfly—all are in a subtle state of unrest, waiting for the moment when some invisible mechanism signals that the time has come. Then the star explodes; the wheel makes poor men rich; the butterfly mates and dies."

Transformation is rare but it does occur in nature. Here we can see a Mermaid admiring her new legs as they begin to appear and the scale on the tail vanishes! This can only happen when the Mermaid has a heart full of desire, love and goodwill and the final ingredient: a magic towel! Thus ends our series!
These berries, along with the pretty colors of the changing leaves, transformed this otherwise kind of ugly tree into a real beauty.

I feel the seasons changing right now. the the tide coming and going. bringing the new weather of time to come.
I took this picture a last year, but I recently came across it and liked it for one reason or another. I like how it's still in the sea, but not for long. I see it as a symbolic transformation of what has been and what will come to be.
1980s Transformer which turns from a robot into an SR-71 spyplane. A present from hubby 25 odd years ago.
Apologies for the old, rather blurred, shot but I liked the image and was too lazy to go seeking photogenic gulls on a wet February afternoon.
I was trying to frame a monument at Mahabalipuram when this girl suddenly appeared in the frame . All I had to do was press the shutter.

I have a very old silver bracelet that I re-discovered recently. It had got so tarnished it was practically black, much blacker than this photo shows. I've been meaning to polish it with Silvo and this week's theme gave me the incentive to do just that. The left hand side shows that tarnish and the right side the polished bit - transformed to how it should look!

Plenary Session: Harnessing the Power of Innovation Districts
Next to One world trade center station, PATH, there was a building under construction. On the other side, there's a glass wall skyscraper looks obscure with the reflection on the wall similar to the background of the cloudy New York's sky. Having such less usual buildings side by side, the construction started appearing as a neo-futuristic transformation.
