We left work early on July 3 and hiked up Bandera for sunset. Unbelievably, on a holiday long weekend on one of the most popular trails in Washington state we had the mountain to ourselves. A river of fog came in from the west and cut us off from the freeway below, a stage for the sinking sun engoldening the beargrass at our feet and Tahoma in the distance. I saw pictures of cars lined up on each side of the road half a mile down from the trailhead the next day.
Jumping fences is not without risk for wildlife. This is the remains of a mule deer that looked like it broke its neck. We watched a herd of about 40 elk this morning jumping a pretty high fence. Many got caught and fell over. About a dozen calves remained when the adults got across. The cows called to them to get them to jump, but many hadn't when we drove on so as not to spook them further.
his painting represents the deep connection with our soul, our inner sun, and the journey of transformation we experience through significant life changes. Inspired by a newborn photo of myself and enhanced with a piece of lace that wrapped me as a baby, this artwork celebrates the inner light that shines within each of us.

This gorgeous dolls original face Was stunning but always annoyed me! Her brows were far too low and her eyes looked too wonky and she lacked character. I finally erased her original makeup leaving eyes and lips and set to work with her transformation...

january 4th; late new years resolution
today i'll start changing for the better, i'll try. it just might take me a while.
some things i want to say
-please disregard how retarded the "i'll transform" looks, i don't have the natural talent of writing upside down and backwards
-you can't really see the texture but i got it here
-so far i'm loving 365 because i now know what the date is
-last night i didn't go to sleep until around 3AM because i kept having these ideas for a story, hopefully it'll amount to something
-the white in the picture is a sheet, not a dress ;)
-i really really wanna do a photo shoot with someone, but i just don't know where to start..
-i hope you all had an amazing day!
"so far away from that low down good for nothing mistake making fool with excuses like
"baby that was a long time ago"
but that's just a euphemism. if you want the truth he was out of control but a short time's a long time when your mind just won't let it go"- Jack Johnson

This is the aftermath of my transformation on my E39 523i, manual and LOADED with BMW quality!
It is HDR abuse I know.
After the last step, the treads and arms just turn down and inward to close the chest. Sorry for the blurry pics people.

This is just another beautiful transformation in this long meaningful life of mine.
There will be many more in the future.. I am not afraid to be different. This is an ongoing process that will change me, better me, & mold me into who I am tomorrow. :]
Life is the most amazing journey that we will ever be on- full of: changes, smiles, tears, love, transformations, and growing. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Enjoy all of the good times & remember them always- while forgetting the bad.
Most of all: Be yourself. Life your life the way that YOU want to live it..

White daffodils sprang up in the side yard this year. I usually see an influx of yellow. White daffodils supposedly signify transformation.
