Rose Sissi by Daniel Arrhakis (2023)
Rose Sissi, Blue Moon, Mainzer Fastnacht , Blue Monday, Navo-Rose, etc. Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1964).
This large flowered hybrid Tea Rose is one of the "Blue /Lavender Roses". The flowers are larger, and full-petaled, 40 petals, with high centers and good symmetry and they last well.
They are sweetly fragrant and the plant grows vigorously.

When autumn knocks on the door..
We feel winds blowing in our hair..
Colours are fading and at the same time increasing..in our skin.
Living candles and a warm home to come in to..is a blessing
My wish of warm and safe place for all..why isn´t it that way?

I spent a lot of time trying to get the right mix between mesh bodies and mesh heads... who would of thought that in my 11 years in SL things would get harder and more complicated?
Now I think I have found PERFECTION thanks to a special friend.
„Transformed into a big snake he openend up a gigantic crack in the ground. And when the dust had settled the Iguazu River began its eternal fall.“

Transformation
Website:
TransFormation was created in 2007 with the goal of offering an annual intensive workshop for professional dancers. Throughout the last 11 years, TransFormation has become a landmark in the Montreal dance scene as a highly anticipated and indispensable event. Cherished by artists for its intensive format, TransFormation contributes to focusing on precise objectives over the span of a couple of weeks. It is also a rare occasion to meet, exchange and network with other artists from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and throughout the world, who all share the same passion.
===
TransFormation is a contemporary dance intensive for professional dancers, choreographers, professional teachers and emerging artists. A variety of technique classes, workshops and creation laboratories are offered on an à la carte basis encouraging the artists themselves to choose a programming which would best fit their pursuit of their unique artistic development.
Dancers develop their own distinct way of working, bringing a singularity and their own particular colour to the creations they take part in. Consequently, the contemporary dancer must not only explore new techniques but also new “states of body”. Transformation is a place that offers the opportunity to acquire and incorporate new tools, to improve critical sense and refine one’s personal aesthetic choices.
TransFormation brings together dancers from different horizons and with different views and interests. Together these factors make for a very unique and enriching experience. Every year dancers leave with an appreciation for the fluidity of interpersonal relations between the dancers, choreographers and faculty as well as the intense concentration of the workshop and the atmosphere of artistic freedom that is felt in the different studios during TransFormation.
The program reflects the dancer’s commentaries, views and interests in the new paths of contemporary creation along with the human and artistic experience of its director Lisa Davies and its founders Catherine Viau and David Pressault. The choice of faculty is based on a desire to offer a space of real transformation.

This ring (made by my extremely talented wife) consists of 8 individual rings which in normal use form a stack below the mount which carries the stone, through which you poke your finger. However, they are cunningly hinged together so that they can unfold from their normal position and transform into a bracelet (shown here partially deployed).
The visible extent of the image is 3".
instead of wilting , with petals falling off as other aging cut flowers do, the hyacinth flowers started to become translucent and gelatinous and slimy with age! I had not seen this before, but then i've only had hyacinths growing in pots previously, not as cut flowers in a vase
As a conservative estimate, I've driven past this scene well over a thousand times in the last five years. It's one of those sights that's so ingrained in my routine that I stop seeing it.
I'm glad this morning's mist changed that.
Transformed into a bobblehead for wheelchair transport (probably).

Didcot Power Station, Oxfordshire - Even ugly looks good in the dark. A well recognised landmark in South Oxon, the cooling towers are due to be demolished this year much to the dismay of many local residents who've become accustomed to living with this landmark.
Garrison Church of St. Alexei (1894-1896). Currently the Roman Catholic Church of St. George. Modeled after Russian military churches, the structure combines a sacred function with that of a horse riding arena, incorporating "Russian-style" forms. During the interwar period, the onion-shaped helmets were removed, transforming the church into a Roman Catholic church. Łódź, Poland.

Tess Mercer was once the sister of Lex Luthor, and an ally to the Justice League. But, when she died at the hands of Lex, her mind was transformed into an AI, eventually given form in a crimson android body and finally joining the ranks of the Justice League proper as the Red Tornado!
The perfect example of what Smallville does best - the longest, weirdest route to what you know and love! An original character in the "Superman is in high school" show becomes a disemobied AI that becomes Red Tornado!
Excerpt from irisvanherpen.com:
CAPRIOLE - Iris van Herpen made her debut in Paris as member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture with this collection. Besides being a compilation of highlights from previous collections, this new collection also presented five striking outfits that evoke the feeling just before and during a free-fall parachute jump.
A ‘leap in the air’ (the meaning of the French word Capriole) that Van Herpen once in a while takes to reset her body and mind. The five outfits are a reflection of the extreme feelings experienced during that jump. For instance, the dress consisting of serpentine forms made of black acrylic sheets, nicknamed the ‘snake dress’, evokes the mental state at the moment before the jump when, as Van Herpen explains, “all my energy is in my head and I feel as though my mind is snaking through thousands of bends”.
This is the one touch transformable LEGO RC tank. It tranforms with just one touch from a tank to a robot, and vice versa. Also, this vehicle can be driven by LEGO RC controller, whatever its form is, a robot or a tank.

It's funny how my work has just transformed over night isn't it? It's like my creative thoughts and dreams are suddenly being projected into my work, which is exciting! Who knows what tomorrow will be like, we'll see! I hope I can keep this streak up.
Slept in until 12:30 p.m. woops! Someone stayed up too late the night before. I went downstairs and said good morning, well good afternoon to everyone then came back upstairs to come on flickr and the internet! Had a shower and then had lunch :) I watched Private Practice with my Mum and my gosh, so stressful! That episode was full on.
Afterwards, I uploaded yesterday's photo and then waited around until about six and went to the park with my brother. I took him to a new section that I had been to with Nataly. There was amazing light and I just couldn't stop taking pictures! Christian took some too, so go check them out! :)
Dad picked us up in the mustang and we drove around the industrial areas to look for more cool photo locations. We got out at one point and looked at this one area which I'll be using in the future! We listened to green day really loud and enjoyed the afternoon :)
Explored.
