Thanaleng is about 20 km east to Vientiane, first international railway link serving Laos. Noticed 8 other tourists headed to the same destination. All backpackers!

More than half the riders were tourists, including the 3 of us. This short ride took us accross Nongkhai (Thai side) and Thanaleng (Laos side)
