Spot the two little kids looking at the train ride. It wasn’t fully built and so it wasn’t in use, hence no ride for the kids. I was on the other side of the fence and saw these two little kids looking at the rides with so much fascination!! Ah the lovelyfulness of being a kid, everything is a question.
actually it's such a mystery and wonder to be a little one. So many things to knoowwwww ...so many ugly faces to remember....the world seems so BIG that you can't seem to find your own place in it. Every little thing is a mystery and you just wanna know everything …. “Why is this?” “Why is that”. My brother is 14 and he still sometimes asks me question out of curiosity. Sometimes I don’t know the answer to his questions, then its like ask dad time. But it also reminds us, how little we know, and how much there is to know. Curiosity can be soo amazing.
There are fold-down seats for folks to sit on, But you spend a lot of time getting up as people are always passing.
The train is full as we ride it around Breckenridge Park in San Antonio. It is a favorite of kids of all ages and has been running for years. Kerry, my 33 yr old son, even rode it when he was little. It is a 20 min ride that goes all through the park.
Destination Jakarta today, Non-stop Amsterdam-Jakarta.
We arrived in Jakarta in the late morning and headed straight away for the old Harbor and Dutch Cityhall.
That was enough for the day and our 14 hour flight.
Leaving Jakarta already next morning, after a quick stop at the Monas, for Bogor and the Puncak pass, but the pass was deleted from the tour as the roads were blocked during this eastern holiday weekend.
Visited only Bogor Botanic gardens and headed to Bandung via Jakarta.
Bandung is famous for its Art Deco city center.
We boarded the train for a 5 hour scenic drive to Kroya .
Night-stop at Wonosobo with the Dieng Vulcanic area and Java's oldest Hindi temples are nearby.
Fortunatly it didn't rain during our visit to the famous Borobudur temple complex .
We arrived in Yogjakarta for a full package - 2 day visit.

The Old Globe Theatre was built in 1935, designed by Richard Requa as part of the California Pacific International Exposition. The theatre was based on a copy of one built for the Chicago Century of Progress, which in turn was a copy of the Globe Theatre in London, England, where many of William Shakespeare's plays were performed during his lifetime. Like the original Globe, the theatre was open in the center with a roof over the seating on the sides.
During the exposition, it hosted 50-minute versions of Shakespeare plays. At the end of the exposition, the Globe had been received so well that a nonprofit organization called the San Diego Community Theatre was formed to save the temporary structure from demolition. The committee leased the structure from the city, produced full-length plays, and created a more permanent structure by roofing over the theatre and bringing it up to code.[1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Globe_Theatre
