Pretty sure this Porsche had straight pipes because it was LOUD! There was a very nice noise coming out of the exhaust constantly. Throughout the whole rev range it sounded great. - Eastern Creek, Sydney

Kind of a fusion between a lot of adventurers vehicles (elephant caravan, scorpion tracker, sphinx secret surprise ect) I always imagined the ST to be more of a small buggy like design... I may experiment with tan coloured bricks as well, but this works for any Adventurers vigs.
A Freightliner class 66 passes Darlington Arena with the daily Teesport to Felixstowe liner. Ths stadium is being used for Covid testing so with the area teetering on the brink of tier 3 restrictions its a bit surprising that there doesn't appear to be any testing going on. Maybe its happening inside.
Beautiful sunrise this morning as I drove across the tracks near my home on the way to work. I know I've been MIA on flickr, just been struggling with emotions after the loss of Shiloh and hard to get the creative juices going. I'll check your streams soon my friends.

when i was five i went to a place called kinderfarm, by myself, on a train named the phoebe snow. on the return trip, i stepped off the train and dropped my jar of homemade jam on the platform. so much for impressing my parents with a week of crafts.

The tracks of the old Boulder Tunnel are mostly gone, and some use it now for a roadway. Built in the 1890's and reaching over a mile through the mountain. Fun place to visit, although not easy to locate the first time.
As the tram tracks split to either side of the platform, wooden blocks are used. These fair much better than solid ones as they expand and contract without breaking as the trams pass by.
A shot of the tracks which lead from Jersey's Desalination Plant to a Pumping station used by Jersey Water at the bottom of the cliff. The desalination plant was built in the former La Rosière quarry in St Brelade with sea water pumped into a deep pond within the former quarry.
Remains of the quarry buildings can be seen at the top of the cliff. Meanwhile, these tracks also hide a geocache, one which I have yet to find!

Today's afternoon I happened to find a strange airplane track nearby Sakurajima. Then I recalled that today the H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) was going to be lanched from Tanegashima Island, which is apart about 100 km from the Kagoshima main land. Thus the track was not by an airplane but actually by a rocket. Nickname of the vehicle is Kounotori, Oriental Stork or White Stork, and the Konotori is a spacecraft used to resupply the International Space Station (ISS). This photo was 4 or 5 minutes after the launching, so the track was transformed by complex air streams in high altitudes.

A rig you don't likely see every day. This was from an Arizona Flywheelers antique tractor show a few years back since this year's show was cancelled due to Coronavirus concerns.
With blades on long arms and the elaborate sweeping mechanism, this thing looks like it is capable of doing everything from track repair to landscaping work in your back yard!
This extreme magnification on a warm March day in 2007 accentuates the unevenness of the track near Curthwaite as a northbound freight approaches (60036 heading 6C48 Workington - Carlisle).
