I don't understand why some of this looks
less sharp than rest - and it's not the edges
or the parts closest to or furthest from
the camera. A bad lens?

Train tracks seen from the Bow River Pathway near the Harry Boothman Bridge, city of Calgary [Alberta - Canada].
The walk along the Milford Track gave spectacular views. The mountains were spectacular.
We have a Milford Track video for those interested in watching our experience of it www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q4-0fGlORI and also a geocaching video on Queenstown www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uRiLN_2dNw
Along the track at The North York moors railway, and no the trains were not running as it was out of season.
Waiting on a westbound train just outside of Battle Creek a few weeks ago, I wondered what I was hearing in the distance with a rather sickly-sounding K3L horn. Then, this thing pops into view! A battle-weary GP38-2W leading 2 boxcars of track inspection instruments along with their accompanying support coach. I think this was the first time I ever saw a GP38-2W, since they seem to largely stick to Canada.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - It was a great day for finding animal tracks in the snow. This draw was also where I found my first deer shed antler of the season.
