Enjoy Your Day out Exploring Friends

Tracks made by an unidentified species of Middle Jurrasic dinosaur on a ripplemarked beach covered with a thin agal mat. The tracks were buried by overlying marine shale and preserved. The holes seen near the tracks are interpreted as shrimp burrows. The tracks and hole are filled with water from a recent rainstorm which makes the tracks easier to see. These tracks are located in the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite along the Red Gulch/ Alkali Backcountry Byway near Shell Wyoming.

Being pretty much full time one doesn't always take photos or remember to post them when we do.

This was possibly last Friday or possibly Saturday.

Went for a stroll and ended up at my parents.

123 in 2023: #105 tracks

Not my usual positioning of a photo (it's normally in the middle of a road!) but I took this quickly whilst walking across a crossing at Spellbrook. I like the converging tracks and in black and white seemed about the right treatment.

BART tracks go underground here

In Astoria Park in Queens, New York. The bridge in view is the Triborough Bridge, also known as the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.

The tire tracks had me imagining the lanes a snowy colosseum racetrack.
