Day 2: Esperance to Albany: The Unconventional Ride. 750 km in 10 days. At the eastern end of Barker Inlet Beach. Google Maps said there was a track here. I guess a rock fall is a track right? Well it worked out okay, I went down it, fingers crossed :

So... The ŁM-50 tracked front-end overhead loader model in 1:13 is finally finished and Johanna Gambolputty is ready to present it ;) . Pre-Christmas frenzy, however, is not the best time to film/photograph a new model so for now - just this one family photo. The other models are old, very old, but I've just overhauled them and will probably film them together with the ŁM-50, for the first time in decent quality. They deserve it, methinks, for nostalgic reasons if not anything else.

A pair of Transport for Wales Class 153's arrives at Shrewsbury Station with its semaphore signals and lesser photographed signal box which I think is called Shrewsbury Crew Junction. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

This trail was created by Mrs Albertina Choules in the woods local to her remote home.

She was tragically murdered and set alight in 2016 during a robbery attempt on her home.

The track from Arpafeelie through Gallows Wood to Redcastle is ever changing. From fields with sheep and cattle to natural woodland, and then some lovely older plantations. Here we have Douglas Firs on the left and European Larches on the right, but there are self seeded and natural trees scattered throughout. The Firs are magnificent and straight like ship's masts. The Larches, too, are pretty special plantation trees that are a gorgeous colour this time of year, and are a front to more Douglas Firs and Scots Pines behind.

Whose tracks these are I do not know

CN rail maintenance crews were out this morning repairing part of the tracks that run through St. Henri this morning at St. Ambroise and St. Augustin streets.

The back tracks of Hanoi, Vietnam. Reflections of reflections in the wake of new directions; remembering the beginning of a journey, and how if you were to never have set out than you would disappear from that scene before your eyes as if you were never there. But that scene before you, has become your reason for having made it so far, and your reason to keep going; the beauty of an afternoon and how it can become everything you stand for.
