late evening sun at Abberley, It was a lot colder than it looks.
There is an interesting story about this folly if true. it was apparently built by the owner of Abberley Hall to spoil the claim of the owner of nearby Witley Court, that he owned everything that he could see from the Court.
I went under the Eiffel tower and we had a very nice sky, with a wide angle lens, I got this shot. Loved the sky that end of afternoon
'AL SALAM TOWER'
Featured is Al Salam Tower, home of Du headquarters. This area of Dubai isn't often photographed but like the rest of this city, everything is work in progress. If close your eyes and open them 10 years from now, you probably won't be able to recognize this same frame. Ok. Make that 5 years.

They lit up this Coit tower with Orange Light last night and the new SalesForice tower with blue light too :)

TRRA 102 job brings a train to CSX at Rose Lake via the connection at Willows Tower. The tower has unfortunately been closed by KCS but I believe they still utilize the building in some capacity.

The two towers of the landmarked San Remo apartment building can be seen across Central Park from the roof of the Met Museum. The sculpture (one of three pieces called Ensemble) by Jennie C. Jones also looks like two towers.
Veglio tower in Monferrato vineyards. Villages and Hills in Monferrato with Alps as background, Piedmont, Italy. Langhe, Roero and Monferrato are places among precious wines, villages and castles. Wonderful landscapes sculpted by the combined action of nature and man, gentle hilly expanses dotted with wines as far as the eye can see, ancient villages surrounded by fields and imposing castles perched on hilltops.
Horton Tower at 140 feet high (43 metres) was said to have once been the tallest non-religious building in Britain and is a classic example of a folly. This one was built in 1750 by architect and Lord of Horton Manor, Humphrey Sturt.
This grand and gothic five storey red brick tower, had fallen into a state of disrepair and had become not much more than a shell. In recent years, Vodafone has undertaken some restoration work as the tower now hosts mobile signal masts fixed to it’s sides.
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building, and the tallest structure in Paris. Its base is square, measuring 125 metres (410 ft) on each side. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to become the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years until the Chrysler Building in New York City was finished in 1930. Due to the addition of a broadcasting aerial at the top of the tower in 1957, it is now taller than the Chrysler Building by 5.2 metres (17 ft). Excluding transmitters, the Eiffel Tower is the second-tallest structure in France after the Millau Viaduct.
Florence has so many fine buildings but photographing them is not easy as they are so close together. This is an impressive tower

There was no background at Aldeburgh to speak of so I thought I would try something a tad different as the tower is an interesting structure with some good symmetry to it.

I took some clients from Michigan out to the Wahweap Hoodoos today. They really wanted a good shot of the Towers of Silence, but I told them the sun likely wouldn't rise far enough to the north to get around the cliffs in Feb. Regardless, we set off hiking at 4AM and got there just before sunrise. Lucky for us, the tower got about 15 mins of sunlight before the cliffs got in the way. They were really happy! So if you're thinking of visiting the hoodoos, now is a great time.
This shot was taken at Kenilworth castle. The castle hasn’t been occupied for a very long time, but it’s a stunning location. I used a couple of textures in this shot.
