The sun came out last evening and I went to the North Cliffs just beyond Navax Point. This view was taken from the coastal path looking up the coast towards Portreath, Porthtowan and beyond.

January 2017 saw me investigating contrasting sections of the Dudley No. 2 Canal at Halesowen, from the navigable stretch near Hawne Basin to the cut-off remains in Leasowes Park. In between times, a public footpath towards Mucklow Hill helped me link the pieces together.

The city gets more high rise as it heads towards union square. Was a rather more hazy day than our first, I think more than normal here.
