Looking south down Occidental. I believe this was my first time actually getting food from one of these stands.
There seems to be a lot of development along the lake shore, although the presence of the freeway and train tracks cuts the city off from the lake, unfortunately.
Villagers row their boats out to distant waters to collect 'cleaner' waters for consumption. Seen here are two youngsters rowing out to possibly visit friends.
Towards Tromsø, the Arctic City.
Tromsø's just round the corner - a nice city, but a bit cut off. And of course dark for 24 hours a day in winter.
Had a few drinks in an underground bar here, I think Pub Carl Johan, and found out later my mate in the Merchant Navy used to drink there when he was in Tromsø. At first this seemed to be a major coincidence, but on further thought I realised it would be more surprising to find a bar in a port where he hadn't drunk!
Also, mind out for Absynth bars!
It's been about a year since my last visit to downtown Philadelphia and I hadn't seen this building before. I popped the sunroof at a traffic light to snap this, hence the weird angle. But I think it works nicely with the architecture.
These dolphins are the coolest things! They're made mostly out of metal, but their tails are shaped to catch the wind so they twist and turn constantly.

The route of the LNWR line from Leamington Spa to Rugby which was opened in 1851 and closed in 1965, looking towards Offchurch and on to Rugby.
Taken in a beautiful cathedral in Liege ( Belgium ). The half open door inviting you to walk into the stunning main area. Hand held shot @ 1600 ISO f4!
