Furzehill Road, Borehamwood, looking towards the town centre. The turning on the right is Ashley Drive. This is almost the furthest south you can go and still be in the town. At this point all the development is on the right hand side of the road. On the left is a field with horses grazing in it.

The only difference since March 2007 is there isn't a bus in the way!

Took this picture near Bylakuppe, one of Tibetan settlements in India. The place is in Karnataka.

Bylakuppe consists of a number of agricultural settlements / small camps close to each other, and has a number of monasteries, nunneries and temples in all the major Tibetan Buddhist traditions.

View from the river towards the back of Notre Dame de Vernon, along Rue Bourbon Penthievre.

The road is named after the last Lord of Vernon, Jean-Marie de Bourbon, Duke of Penthievre, who died in Chateau de Bizy in 1793. Before the Second World War the street, lined with old timber-framed houses stretched as far as the Seine. The bombings and the opening of Boulevard du Marechal Leclerc led to loss of part of the neighbourhood. A portion of the 13thC town wall survives in the garden of no1. In the past this was a poor neighbourhood subject to flooding.

Looking towards Welsh Hills. In the foreground are the Hilbre Islands. You can walk there, but there is a danger of being trapped by incoming tides.
