I am completely and utterly in love. These were my first toe-up socks, and they went off (pretty much) without a hitch. They're also the tallest socks I've made so far, since I didn't have to worry about running out of yarn. I even have a little left, actually.
These exciting new shoes are hand painted by a family of artisans from down south with a knack for color coordinations. This weeks selection is the florsheim octavio. This dark brown cap toe brogue dress shoe is a definite triple threat. Features include a genuine deerskin and calf leather upper, along with sheepskin linings for added warm during these colder months. Great for work, after work and your weekend endevours.
Picture Summer prompt - treat yourself and barefoot
I know, I've got loads of toes in my 365. I was desperate for a 365 photo - busy busy busy! I'm sure I can blame Mum for this, but I think toes look much prettier when they are painted. My baby bump is just starting to inhibit my ability to reach them though, so today I went and treated myself to a little pedicure. It was nice to have a foot massage and to have my toes painted.
I trapped this cat last night at a feral colony that I've been TNRing. The woman who is feeding the colony doesn't recognize her, and based on her behavior, I think she's either someone's pet or a stray.
Many tuxedos have white paws. This one has white socks with black toes, on her three of her feet.
Freshly painted toes. Black with red glitter.
Earlier this week, I was wearing a pair of fuzzy socks which Boogie took to be toys, hence the bit of scratching on my foot.
Part of a "Cringe" series I'm working on. Thanks to my friend with a messed up toe and steady feet. Taken with a D60.
The Beagle (black) and Church Fenton battle for the ball at Chesney Field, Acomb, during a quarter-final tie in the York Football League's Junior Cup.
Despite being reduced, in the 72nd minute, to 10 men because of a second yellow card, for a display of dissent towards the referee, Church Fenton equalised, deep into stoppage time at the end of the second half, to make it 3-3, then won the penalty shootout, 5-4. Amid failing light, the Beagle's third spot-kick was saved.
At kick-off, The Beagle lay second in Division Four, the York League's fifth tier, with Church Fenton third in Division Three.
