I was at my friend Kerey's house and I went jumping on her trampoline. She took a picture of me doing a toe touch.

this 3 toed sloth was seen in the wild at the Gandoca National Park in Manzanillo, Costa Rica. They really love to sit around and scratch....this one was cute enough to hang upside down and have a good go at her head for me.

Caleb's first birthday party was today. Instead of cake, he munched on his toes.

I live in a Simpsons World, with only 4 fingers. :O

This is an officially bad photo, but I couldn't resist those toes! Caught mid stretch - very undignified. Sorry Jazz.

My artistic impression of the personalities of Katherine's toes

Once there was a woman who went out to pick beans, and she found a Hairy Toe.

She took the Hairy Toe home with her,

and that night, when she went to bed,

the wind began to moan and groan. Away in the distance

she seemed to hear a voice crying, “Where’s my Hair-r-ry To-o-oe?” “Who’s got my Hair-r-ry To-o-oe?”

The woman scrooched down

way down under the covers

and about that time

the wind appeared to hit the house swoosh! And the whole house creaked and cracked like something was trying to get in.

The voice had come nearer almost at the door now

and it said,

“Where’s my Hair-r-ry To-o-oe? Who’s got my Hair-r-ry To-o-o-e?”

The woman scrooched further down under the covers

and pulled them tight around her head. The wind growled around the house like some big animal

and r-r-um-mbled over the chimney.

All at once she heard the door cr-r-a-ack! And Something slipped in

and began to creep over the floor.

The floor went

cre-e-eak, cre-e-eak,

At every step that thing took towards her bed. The woman could almost feel

it bending over her bed.

Then in an awful voice it said:

“Where’s my Hair-r-y To-o-o-e?

Who’s got my Hair-r-ry To-o-o-e?”

YOU’VE GOT IT!

She has big Lab toes!

When asked to stand on her toes, this is what my daughter does. I think she was a ballerina in another life. ;-)

...is a very unusual plant from the deserts of South Africa,

a "Mimicry" plant, with finger-like leaves in upright clusters.

These "fingers" have a translucent "window" at the tip,

it is through this window that the harsh African sunlight is filtered to enable photosynthesis. In habitat, often only these windows are visible above the quartz sand. If Baby Toes is not getting enough sun the translucent window will spread and open to receive more light, changing the look of the plant!
