Yeah I know right?, You wait ages for a Night Shot from me, and then I give you 2 in one night..., and I know what your thinking, does he even go to bed? LOL!

So Yeah I'm Still doing night shots, well somebody has to..., and this Travelmasters Bus & Coach of Sheerness vehicle was on SouthEastern Trains Late Night Rail Replacement Services from Assford to Dover and Deal in East Kent.

A Thank You should also go to the Tipster who told me that this Rail Replacement would be happening for 3 nights this week and that something different would be on it, and this was the best I could do in the dark, but still not that bad considering the conditions I had to work with, and besides I've actually done worse night shots right?

But yes I'm sure you still think I'm crazy for going out at 00:35AM, especially when John Lee Hooker sang that "Night Time is the Right Time to be with the Woman You Love!", however unfortunately I still don't have any of that...

Three ton Electric Sign Blown off Building into Broadway

February 23, 1912. "Three-ton electric sign blown into Broadway." Our second look at the toppled sign in front of a railroad ticket office and Hepner's Hair Emporium. From the New York Times account the 100 mph gale: "An electric sign, 100 by 200 feet, on the roof of the Kohn Building, just south of the Hotel Knickerbocker, caught one of the worst puffs of the big wind and toppled over into Times Square. A policeman, who had just darted into the store on the ground floor to warn those within that the sign was coming down, barely escaped it as it fell. The sign, weighing nearly two tons, crashed over into the street, still clasped hinge-like to its moorings at the bent base, while the top, crumbling into the street, shattered to bits a large plateglass window in the Lehigh Valley Railroad's office on the ground floor." Apartment Fire In Harrison Township

Southfield (WWJ) -- A roofer may be to blame for an apartment fire that left several Harrison Township residents homeless.

The fire at the Harbor Club apartments at 36000 Jefferson near Shook Road started about 2 p.m. Thursday. Macomb County sheriff department dispatchers and apartment managers said no one was injured.

Firefighters from Chesterfield Township, Clinton Township, Mt. Clemens, Roseville and St. Clair Shores were assisting Harrison Township. Fire boats from the Macomb County sheriff's department were also helping.

One worker who was near the scene told WWJ the fire had spread throughout one apartment building. Several WWJ tipsters reported seeing smoke miles away.

Apartment managers say 35 of the 37 apartments were occupied.

Sheriff investigators say the cause of the fire appears to be accidental and may have started as a roofer was doing work on the building.

Jefferson Avenue was shut down north of Shook Road as a result of the fire.

Meantime, the Red Cross and the Salvation Army are helping victims of the fire. And Knox Presbyterian Church is accepting donations to give to the victims as well. Church Administrator Scott Shaw says their phones have been ringing throughout the day from those who want to help in some way. Shaw says the church will also provide temporary shelter to those who need a place to stay.

CRIME STOPPERS is asking for help in locating William Forrest Hughes. Hughes is wanted on three felony warrants: two from Greene County for 2nd degree assault with a vehicle, #302CF12309, and larceny, #307CF5628; and one from Christian County for failure to pay child support, #08FAWR212. He has an additional warrant issued by the Springfield Police Department for larceny, #062084755.

Hughes is a 38-year-old white male, about 5’11” to 6’0” tall, 150-160 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder and may wear glasses. He also goes by the first name of Bill or Billy.

Do NOT try to apprehend Hughes as he is known to be violent. If you know his whereabouts, call CRIME STOPPERS at (417) 869-TIPS or go on-line at www.tipsubmit.com. Tipsters do not have to give their name and could earn a reward.

Bethesda Maryland, July 24 2023. What a day! A little past 12 noon County Executive Marc Elrich signed into law Rent Stabllization as passed 7-4 by the County Council last week. The bill was championed by Council Members Kristin Mink and Will Jawando with Elrich an enthusiastic supporter. The bill offers an overall cap of 6% to most of MoCo's renters with some exceptions. This is much needed relief for the over 130,000 County residents who live in rental housing and pay over 30% of their income to keep a roof over their heads.

As soon as the signing Ceremony was over Jawando rushed down to Sala Thai restaurant in Bethesda and was later joined by Mink and Elrich to support One Fair Wage for tipped workers. Currently MoCo tipped workers are paid just under $4 an hour. The One Fair Wage plan is to start a glide path sooner rather than later to pay all workers including tipsters the County minimum wage of around $15 an hour while still allowing them to receive tips.

Mink, Jawando and Erich joined MoCo Delegates Love, Korman, and Charkoudian as waiters for the event. I counted around 60 attendees total, quite a turn out for a mid day work week event.
