Tip # 1 to looking sexy on the dance floor: "do what she does"

Ahum... nice hair...

Dont know who took pic but i think its my dad moving spoil from the top of a quarry

This is the heart of my tip. For years I have used a point in the chuck to hold the tap square when threading holes. The tip of the point fits into a small dimple in the center of the butt end of the tap. The set up is held by downward manual pressure on the quill. Two problems. If the downward pressure is relaxed the set up falls apart and second this can not be used to power tap.

On the left in the picture is a short HEXtension made by Logicatool.com. It chucks nicely and has a 3/8" square drive on the end. This is a very well made tool and a tad expensive. As an alternative you could use a regular extension with the female socket end cut off or an impact hex to square drive adaptor.

In tool in the center is an IRWIN Tools/Hanson 2-Piece Adjustable Tap Socket. Note the square drive head. These tap sockets come in two sizes and can be used in for taps up to 1/2".

On the right, a common 4 flute 1/2-13 tap.

BNSF's Pasadena Roadswitcher tip-toes very gingerly along the seldom used Metropolitan Water District spur in La Verne, CA on April 23, 2012. This spur runs north off the former Second District near La Verne University up to a water filtration plant, that has been around for years. Here the job with three GP60M's all in Santa Fe paint, is creeping down the short but steep grade at the entrance to the grounds.

My cat and dear friend Tipper passed away after a short illness on the morning of August 20th 2014 aged around 20 years old. This beautiful and affectionate cat will be sadly missed and forever fondly remembered by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. It has been said that cats are solitary creatures and only make alliances and friendships by choice and not instinct, for this reason I believe that love from a cat is perhaps the most genuine love in all of the universe and Tipper had so much of this love to give.
