Finally I got time to do some dolly sewing. It's been months!
i love this fabric, it reminds me of 1930s linocut illustrations in old books.
My redheaded bonnie sisters are doing the matchy matchy thing today.
Their dresses are created from a tiny scrap of fabric that I've had for at least 15 years. I am trying to be good and actually use my favourite fabrics instead of hoarding them!
I needed a break from photographing MIO stuff and Nightmare dollies so an interlude. Introducing my second and hopefully last Ai Doll Red Poppy with her big sister Giggles (Dal Sentimental Noon)looks like I need Pang-ju Pome-Pang next :XD
I found this vintage postcard and love the idea of using it as the view outside. This is a working window and the bottom pane moves up or down. I wish I'd thought of adding the view before installing the window! Now, I'm just not sure about what to do for the exterior (top) of the box... Displaying the back of the old postcard isn't so awesome. So, I've got to figure out how to put another view on the exterior and fit some thinner version of this window over it. Ack!
My new project: a vintage cigar house dollhouse with shabby chic decor :). I cut out a hole for the window sanded all the corners so they'd look more vintage, then stained with "driftwood" stain. Next steps: whitewash...
My Lati order finally arrived to me today! The order was placed 10/16/2015 so it actually took over a year for me to receive my dolls. As much as I absolutely love Lati I do not think I will be ordering from them again though I still have two outstanding orders with them.
Jinx has a twin sister named Juri and oh boy
Once she comes these two are going to be such a handful (literally haha)
I love tiny lati dolls. ♥ such sweet faces.
little christmas trees and new years decorations...

It's almost finished! All I lack now is curtains and cushions for the sofa. This vintage cigar box dollhouse comes with the sofa, chair and coffee table - all hand painted and antiqued - highlighted with green crackle paint. The floor is real wood with the tiniest little "nail" holes where the pieces of wood connect. The light is LED battery operated and is held on by tacky wax so it can be moved around, as desired. The window is a classic old casement style with working panes. The exterior flowers are handmade with paper :)
Thanks for looking! Tori

12cm and 9.5cm dolls. They're tiny resin dolls who like to dress up.
I made the smaller white dress, but not the others. ♥
I have been wanting this Leeke art wig for a while but it was too long for any of the other 5 / 6 girls. It's very girly but I thinl it suits her.
I'm spending the week at a wonderful artist's retreat/workshop learning how to use concrete and steel to make sculptures. It's a dreamy world with yummy food appearing magically at each meal and a giant workshop full of tools and supplies :)
Thx for looking, Tori
