I'm spending the week at a wonderful art colony learning how to use concrete and steel to make my fairy house sculptures. It's a dreamy world with yummy food available magically at each meal and a giant workshop full of tools and supplies :)

A Doll A Day

I recently had new additions to my Lati crew, my long anticipated Monster House Kuroo as well as a Moonlight Vampire Lami who I picked up in a trade.
Tiny baby Sai has asked for hugs.
Rin and Mio are enjoying the holiday.

I could use some advice on roomboxes. :) I have been looking into them for a while. I now have enough accessories to fill one that is for sure. lol
I keep looking at this particular one from DHE Minis called The Summer House. It would be a wonderful winter project to paint and decorate. The price is what stops me. I realize bjds cost a good amount more, but I am still a little hesitant. Would the side walls allow for well-lit photos? Could I use scrap book paper to temporarily change out wallpaper (I am so eclectic and my tastes often change lol). Is it big enough? If the porch is 5 inches deep, would the remainder (just under 14 inches wide maybe) be enough?
I have also been looking at more basic roomboxes on ebay that go for around $40, but then I think that I could just go to the hardware store, buy some MDF and just make a box for less than that. Decisions! Decisions!
Maybe I am over thinking this, but it's a big enough purchase that I am a little unsure. Advice would be much appreciated!!

no this is not Aislinn...I've had a second pukifee bonnie squirreled away for a few months now.
I haven't ever dressed it or photographed it as I didn't want to bond - I was intending to have some custom work done on it. The faceup is veeeeery pale and I wasn't that much of a fan.
Today I decided it was time to rehome it, I plopped it back on it's body, which Aedan had been borrowing and OMG it makes such a cute bonnie boy!!
Excuse the girly hair, it's the only remotely boy-like hair I had and there's no magnet in the faceplate so it needs the hair to hold it in place.
So what do I do now!?!
Hebe arrived home today. One utterly craptastic picture but I couldn't wait until Saturday to share her!
I have to say, I'm rather smitten with the MW Jr body - it's the perfect combination of long legs and (relatively) petite size.
She's wearing a Littlefee dress that I haven't quite finished and a pair of ruffle shorts for msd. Her shoes are yo-sd MJs from hotdotz blythe and a perfect fit.
The only sad thing is she arrived with a broken finger so she is now waiting for Aunty Alexis to come visit as me and glue are not good friends.
I think she'll mostly be wearing natural and earth tones, like Aislinn does but we'll see what she thinks about that.

so freakin' cute. If I knew that the A faceplate on the LTF bonnie would look like this, I'd have one in a heartbeat. This is just how I imagined Aislinn was going to be.
At least I get to visit with Bailey on a regular basis
(and I really really do love Aislinn!)
So I am trying not to look too hard at these photos - I just can't justify her/him! But I feel myself wavering!
My Lati order finally arrived to me today! The order was placed 10/16/2015 so it actually took over a year for me to receive my dolls. As much as I absolutely love Lati I do not think I will be ordering from them again though I still have two outstanding orders with them.

Meet Isobel (Izzy). I have sold many (many!) girls from my collection over the last couple of years and one of the only regrets I have was letting Alice my J'aime Ara tanned elf go, especially when I discovered that J'aime dolls had closed up their shop.
Luckily Alexis spotted this sweet Ara on the MP for me and she arrived home today. She's a different edition to Alice (she's a tan punk with normal ears) but as the J'aime tanned girls were released in extremely limited editions (Alice was one of 10) I knew I had to snap up this cutie.
She's an old girl, created in 2008 but her faceup is in lovely condition and I'm thrilled with her

A very new face in my tiny crowd! I have always loved Lati's sculpts, but not the posing. :P I will have so much fun giving her a faceup as Lati's molds are so different in style compared to Fairyland. It may not be a perfect match to the pukipuki body (especially since the body is older), but she is oh so cute!!
Today, I sculpted a bit more, created the interior wall candles and exterior sunflower garden complete with fairy footprints! Also, a wee fairy stopped by to visit...
