My Lati order finally arrived to me today! The order was placed 10/16/2015 so it actually took over a year for me to receive my dolls. As much as I absolutely love Lati I do not think I will be ordering from them again though I still have two outstanding orders with them.

Lati White SP Haru is my first and only Lati White SP

mustard has appointed himself viola's guardian. just don't tell viola!

Guimauve ooak outfit for tiny BJD as Millie from Kaye Wiggs. Dress, jacket and beret, all in cotton in pale grey violet and pink

perfect for the weather I'm seeing here in the UK at the moment - a super fluffy hooded coat - in my Etsy store (Button Cottage)

another BJD project her tall around 30cm YoSD size,

with chubby tummy and chunky legs :)

she looks younger than I thought and I'm none too sure about that eye makeup! Her eyes are really dark blue with a fleck of brown. We'll be changing them to another shade of blue.

If one is good and one is evil, we will never know. ;)

Double trouble...well actually single trouble and her fall guy. Aoife was having a very piratey day today.

If I keep both Antes they will be twins although I also have a tan Ante coming. I have no idea how they multiplied like that.

Bubble Bubble~

will be updated soon. :-)

Come to the Bambola World! www.Bambolaworld.com

and meet a 'Blanky' doll from Bambola World!

Blanky is 17.5cm resin doll and made by hand sculpture of the years.

Hebe arrived home today. One utterly craptastic picture but I couldn't wait until Saturday to share her!

I have to say, I'm rather smitten with the MW Jr body - it's the perfect combination of long legs and (relatively) petite size.

She's wearing a Littlefee dress that I haven't quite finished and a pair of ruffle shorts for msd. Her shoes are yo-sd MJs from hotdotz blythe and a perfect fit.

The only sad thing is she arrived with a broken finger so she is now waiting for Aunty Alexis to come visit as me and glue are not good friends.

Ready for the guys to kiss her hand! Just need to name her.

Thanks to ban sidhe, tea party revolution and bearpicnic for tagging me...feel free to play along if you haven't already

1. How long have you been in the BJD hobby?

Since July 2009

2. How many dolls do you have at home?

30...If only I had answered this whilst the majority of my girls were holidaying at Alexisbears. I would have seemed far more restrained. 29 girls and one boy, 24 full dolls and 6 faceplates . Believe it or not, I did thin out the numbers at the end of the year. I still need to do more thinning but it’s getting harder with each one!

3. What are their names and sculpts?

From biggest to smallest:

4. Which doll have you had the longest? How long has it been?

Technically Aoife is the oldest character but she has had a body renewal so I think the next oldest would be Thistle.

5. Which doll is your favorite?

Um...all of them? It changes every day but I do think Maeve is the most beautiful. That girl just glows.

6. Are you waiting on any dolls now? If yes, which one(s)?

Just one and it’s a secret...only because I still have to pinch myself to believe that she’s really mine and I won’t quite be certain until she’s in my hands.

7. What is your grail doll?

See question six ; ) Plus Clodagh who arrived home just before Christmas. Finding two girls who I never thought I’d own was a rather nice end to a somewhat messy year. I have other dolls I love but atm I feel no need to chase them down.

8. Did you learn something new because of this hobby?

Due to BJDs (and blythes beforehand) I have rekindled my love of sewing doll clothes.

9. Have you made any friends you might otherwise not have because of this hobby?

Definitely online friends - the bjd community here is small. Happily I managed to convert my fellow miniature bear making friend to the dolly dark side so I get to have dolly days on a regular basis.

10. What are your doll plans for this coming year?

A fresh start! 2013 was an odd year for me and every time I opened the dolly drawer it seemed all too overwhelming so I quickly closed it again and I pretty much achieved nothing I wanted to. Poor Saintbloom Charlotte (pictured above) has been home more than six months and this is her frst photo.

My MSD girls and the Chibis also need some serious attention - they have barely an outfit between them so that is number one priority!

WIP - face-up commission

I made her dress out of hand dyed silk and lace.

apparantly there was a bar of chocolate in the bottom of our swap parcel. Aoife denies all knowledge of its existence.

love my hubby's leica: when there is light it brings out such lovely detail. In england, light is lasting for about 4 hrs in the morning (at least in our house it is) So better catch it quick!!

Aine looks really pretty in red. She borowed Bailey's boots when she came to visit. Now we have another thing added to Aine's want list but luckily for my wallet they are sold out!!

Absolutely lovely girl I picked up in a trade recently

We're still around, just working on getting the new set furnished!

Tess playing with my stuffed squid, Ashley.

Hehe, we had a new arrival today - a pukifee Bonnie. She isn't actually going to be another red-head girl - the wig is Aislinn's for when she wants to wear hats, but I couldn't resist taking a photo of them like this.

The poor girl has a big chunk missing her top lip - I think she'll have to ask her Aunty Alexis very nicely for some help.

Because of that, she looks much more like Aislinn than I anticipated.

However, her cheeks are peachy orange much more like Aine's sweet bunny colours than Aislinn's rosy pink cheeks.

I was thinking of making her a boy but I'm not sure if it will work.

To celebrate the year of the pig, Elfdoll has teamed up with pig artist, Charles Stephan to create this "cute and tiny victorian piglet" doll.

Looks like she should be in a Ryden painting...

Dolls will be limited to 100 units. Wow - they sold out fast!

Super sweet outfit by Katrin/*KaChu*! I love the detail. <3

I could use some advice on roomboxes. :) I have been looking into them for a while. I now have enough accessories to fill one that is for sure. lol

I keep looking at this particular one from DHE Minis called The Summer House. It would be a wonderful winter project to paint and decorate. The price is what stops me. I realize bjds cost a good amount more, but I am still a little hesitant. Would the side walls allow for well-lit photos? Could I use scrap book paper to temporarily change out wallpaper (I am so eclectic and my tastes often change lol). Is it big enough? If the porch is 5 inches deep, would the remainder (just under 14 inches wide maybe) be enough?

I have also been looking at more basic roomboxes on ebay that go for around $40, but then I think that I could just go to the hardware store, buy some MDF and just make a box for less than that. Decisions! Decisions!

Maybe I am over thinking this, but it's a big enough purchase that I am a little unsure. Advice would be much appreciated!!
