Today was really horrible. I went to bed with horrible things, I was woken up with horrible things and I spent all day at work just trying to keep myself distracted, unsuccessfully.
I left work early because I had a dentist's appointment, and I popped into the house to brush my teeth beforehand. And to my amazement, there was this mythical package, posted by Hannah from Honolulu almost four weeks ago, and long since given up on, waiting for me on the doormat. It was a bit overwhelming.
I didn't have time to look at everything before I raced out to the dentist, but I was so excited, so happy. When I got home I read everything, smelt everything (it smells of her), watched all the videos she recorded me. It was wonderful. It came just at the right time to pick me up when I was feeling really down.
Of course, it didn't last. The next thing to take the wind out of my sails was just around the corner.
The flashes behind the bride and groom were from the hired photographers for the wedding. I just happened to hit the shutter at the right time.

Erin and I found a dress yesterday on this website and then when I looked at the sight today I discovered they are closing! Unfortunately this does not leave much time for dress shopping this next weekend because this is when I scheduled my emotional collapse. Thank goodness Erin will be here this weekend -- where else would I find such a good and cheap therapist??? It's also a blessing Tim will be coming with Erin because Patrick will have a distraction and at least he won't be wanting to run away from all of this madness. (Edna's might be the prescription on Friday night --- I'll first check with my dear cheap therapist daughter!!) Then after that I can schedule my crying jag right before we go to church on Sunday morning which would be perfect timing because I volunteered to work in the church nursery. But there is always the possibility we might not be able to go to church because the floor of the little bathroom could be completely torn up and I won't be able to take a shower until Beth is able to work us in between all of her other vague jobs. Reminds me of the flea invasion, the psycho hairdresser and the stopped-up sink the week of Erin and Tim's wedding. Of course there is always next weekend for me to entirely be more emotional and possibly screw up something else. Then I might just run away (I'm trying to leave my options open!) Stay in touch for the emotional roller coaster ----- Thank God Patrick Elder is patient and isn't opting for a more sedate life!!!
Original mark is the big white one on the right. My chisel mark is on the left. My new mark is just barely past the 0deg mark on the shroud. The 0 is right behind the edge of the fan belt pulley.
This is maybe one of the coolest pic I've ever caught. I was trying to portrait Anna, found the position, made the set and then shot....but in that moment, with a perfect timing, Ambro jumped in front of the camera.

The moment we realise that this is all a delusion of our own egoistic nature then we have to awake and become like Her. Pure, courageous and concious of our true being. The greatest joy is when love awakens inside of us. We are all in servitude to the divine.

Sam demonstrates the perfect art of dropping what was in his mouth the moment I pointed the camera at him!! These two bits of much loved fabric used to be a bunny and a duck and remain his faithfully best loved 'suckies' despite all the other 'entire' ones he has. He's had them both since he was a puppy, and seeks them out deliberately and carries both together to his napping spot.

It's been an eating fiesta for me this week. NOMNOMNOM non stop.
I was sitting in front of my house. Taking pictures of the corner of the street, when suddenly my mom came back from work, and parked the car next to me. Defiantly perfect timing... way to go mom!
That cloud in the background was an unbelievable shade of orange, pink, purple and glowing like it was on fire. I saw it and figured I would shoot a shot or two of the car. I ran inside, got my equipment, set everything up and in the seconds before snapping the shutter, the light was gone. It was really that quick. I was so disappointed I figured I could use this photo as an example of missing the cue.
