Check out the perfect timing on this shot. This is me firing a hand gun. We snapped the picture just in time to catch the flames.
This is a photo set of the 2018 Mayberry Half Marathon 5K and 10K Race in Mount Airy North Carolina. It was officiated by Go Sports Timing. Photography by Keith Hall Photography Elkin NC.

Lost to time (mostly to music rights) mid-period Roeg film detailing the l'amour fou of a professor (Art Garfunkel) and a young headstrong Army brat (Theresa Russell, very brave at 22). Roeg cuts it all up memory-style, where one event brings up the memory of something else, eventually giving us the whole story and its creepy, brutal ending. Very enjoyable and almost a sister-movie to Zulawski's "Possession", with similar craziness and a similar back-drop. Roeg treats his audience like adults, and lets us all put it together.
Once again, I found myself talking to a bird a few thousand feet in the sky.
you know, "OK....a little higher, more to the right...perfect....oh poop, did not quite get it." But close.
Timing my arrival at the station car park just nicely, 73970 departs with the 19:50 1B01 Caledonian sleeper service to London Euston. The 73 was removed at Edinburgh with 92023 taking over the reigns for the long journey south, the train now running as 1M16.
Stock comprised of 9497, 6703, 10526, 10542, 10501 and 10690 although i'm not sure of which order they were in.
This is a photograph from the 1st running of the Carbury GAA 10KM Run which was held in Derrinturn, Carbury, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Sunday 28th July 2013 at 12:00. The race was organised by the GAA club and sponsored by various businesses in the locality. The race was very well organised with excellent stewarding and support. Well done to everyone involved.

Overall Race Summary
Participants: There was about 60 participants
Weather: There was hot July sunshine for the duration of the race. There was little or no breeze.
Course: The race starts and finishes at Carbury GAA clubhouse. The race starts and heads southwards along the Sli na Slainte to the main Edenderry Road (R403) at Windmill Cross and proceeds along 'The Back Road' to the Grand Canal at Ticknevin Bridge where the course turns sharply and back to head northwards along the Bog Road to meet the R403 again. Finally for the last 2 KM the race passes through the westerly end of Derrinturn village before following the road to Carbury GAA for the finish. Overall the route is reasonably flat with the only significant rise at the Canal bridge near 5KM.

Refreshments: There was a very impressive selection of refreshments including soup and sandwiches in the GAA Clubhouse afterwards.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. From an old notebook my grandfather gave me. This came from a series of magazine articles by William S. Bennett in the 1960s.
I was concentrating so hard to keep the camera stead - tripod was back at base camp - that their impending-arrival wasn't even noticed until they got into the frame!
Taken handheld for 37 seconds.
The AVCHD is much better but Flickr doesn't support that format (yet?).

So I got tired of Carla's hooker chic look so I put her back to normal. Then, one of my wealthiest sims in this Sunset Valley game pops up, Christopher Thomas. -_-
A bun
The timing advance brought many Nissan Frontiers together. (I was not there but my husband took these pictures)!
Perfect timing and team work between a steer wrestler and his helper, a mounted 'hazer' is the key to fast times in this event. There is also the ability of his horse to 'rate' the steer and place the contestant just right for his leap and catch. It is the 'hazer's' job to keep the steer running straight and not veer away. As the horse pulls alongside the steer, the contestant leans from his horse, leaving his foot in the stirrup, and grasps the steer's horns. Once he has a hold, he uses his feet and body to stop the steer's forward momentum and, once it is off balance, applies leverage on the horns to throw it on it's side. While strength is an asset - the best steer wrestlers are usually big men - timing and coordination are also essential. Winning times are usually under five seconds from when the barrier is released, with four seconds or better commonplace.
