Cover from the autumn / winter / spring 1964 / 65 B.R. Scottish Region timetable. A fascinating read, as many of the services advertised were to unfortunately close during the period as the Beeching cuts got under way. Of the lines that survived, there is generally a better service than 50 years ago.
This, the latest edition, is actually only half as tall and slightly narrower than the previous ones--it came out bigger in the scan.

Service 516 had been on a temporary timetable, due to the closure of Pebble Hill Road at Betchworth, from 8th September 2014. This saw it have to divert via the A24 and double run Headley to/from Box Hill.
Pebble Hill Road re-opened on Friday 23rd January 2015, however Monday 26th January saw the start of a closure of West Street in Dorking, necessitating another temporary timetable. Inbound 516s to Dorking are terminating at The White Horse (rather than continuing to South Street). On departure from Dorking, they are starting at the White Horse, and running via South Street to Townfield Court, where they are serving stop R instead of stop S, then running via Horsham Road, Flint Hill and up the A24 Deepdene Avenue to regain normal line of route. This arrangement is in place all day weekdays, but not Saturdays. The road is closed from 9.15am to 3.30pm on weekdays.
The 465 is also running via Flint Hill and Deepdene Avenue.
Arriva's 32 and Metrobus' 22 and 93 are diverting via Station Road and Ashcombe Road.

14/6/09 - Tangara G30 conducted crush load testing on the Epping to Chatswood Rail Link.
G30 ran from Hornsby to Epping, then to Chatswood through the ECRL, and then ran back to Epping via North Sydney, Central and Strathfield. After the crew changed ends at Epping, the set then ran back to Chatswood via Strathfield and Central, to run through the link again to Epping and back up to Hornsby.
The train stopped at all the stations on the ECRL, and ran according to the timetabled times for suburban services under the proposed 2009 timetable. Running at "crush load", the test was to see if a Tangara train could run on the line.
The main issue with Tangara trains is their weight - the traction motors were prone to overheating on their first runs through the link during initial testing. According to the technicians on the test train on the day, the test was a success.
Theoretically, if a G-Set is heavier than a T-Set (the seats in a G-Set are far heavier than in a T-Set), this successful test means that a T-Set can also run on the line under crush load conditions.

Note that the states of Georgia and Florida were in the Central Time Zone, and the Florida, Central & Peninsula (soon-to-become SAL) ran on Central Time between Columbia and Savannah, so the through southbound trains left before they arrived.
Western North Carolina was on Central Time also, beginning with Asheville. But Biltmore was on Eastern Time! So, No. 13 was due to leave Biltmore at 6:52 pm, and arrive in Asheville at 6:00!
This timetable is printed on one large sheet, like a road map. I wonder if that was done with the idea that the reverse side could be used as a wall map? It looks like a wall map. The fonts are tiny. When you look at the original size, you are looking at the original size.
I thought about having it double-framed to hang on the wall, but I'm afraid the ink would fade over time if exposed to light.

If you’re having trouble in your opens, it's just to not run out of things to say. If she starts talking about where she’s from, just run with it. Just keep the conversation going forward. Remember to screen for logistics in the beginning. How long is she in town for? (i.e.. your timetable) Relationship with her friends? Where’s she staying at? (ie. Planning sex location) Escalation is absolutely essential. Get physical within the first minute. Handshake. WARM Hug. Touching shoulders. Quite simply, move things forward. I open her. Then screen logistics. Isolate. That is key! Isolate and take her somewhere where it is quieter. We grab some drinks. Just as a side note, if you’re not a drinker, don’t let that steer you away from grabbing drinks. It simple when you order drinks, tell the bartender to give you a shot of water. He’ll look at you weird but just tell him you’re the DD. Anyways, I take her back to the dance floor game. I want to see the level of investment and attraction. I know it’s there but I really wanna see hands on in front of me when it comes to the girl. And there are other guys just walking around. Guys, I see this all the time. Minimize the time from set to set. I know it’s the hardest thing but it’s so simple. Guys you’ll see me talk about sex towards the end. Listen, yes it’s okay to talk about sex. When you’ve been in set for a good amount of time and have escalated with her and she’s having a good time, don’t be scared to say a few words about your sex game. Eye contact too gentlemen. This is pinnacle when you’re deep in set. At this point in set you can simply say, “Hey let’s get outta here.” ————————————————————⬇️"The Bottom Line" ⬇️———————————————————— Really engrain the physical escalation from this video. Here we have a woman who doesn’t speak much English and it doesn’t matter. What matters is your mentality. First look at Four Oaks Station in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield.
The station is a short walk away from the shops and cafes at Mere Green.
Four Oaks railway station serves the Four Oaks area of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, England. It is situated on the Cross-City Line. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by West Midlands Railway.
The station opened in 1884, when the London and North Western Railway's line from Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield was extended to Lichfield. More recently, in May 1978 Four Oaks became the northern terminus of the newly inaugurated Cross-City Line from Longbridge via Birmingham New Street, with trains running up to every 10 minutes in each direction.
The line to the north towards Lichfield City had a less frequent service to begin with (Lichfield being outside the West Midlands PTE boundary), but the growing popularity of the route led to it gaining additional services by the mid-1980s. Eventually, the line was extended to Lichfield Trent Valley in November 1988. Electric operation at the station commenced in 1992 (as far as New Street), with the full line through to Redditch following suit in July 1993.
Four Oaks remains a terminus for some services from the south, which mostly use the dead-end platform 3 on the eastern side of the station to turn back. Northbound trains continuing to Lichfield use platform 1 and southbound ones from there use platform 2 (though this can also be used for terminating trains from the south if required).
The station has a staffed ticket office on the eastern island platform, which is open seven days per week (Monday - Friday 06:00 - 20:00, Saturday 07:00 - 20:00, Sunday 09:00 - 16:00). Ticket machines are available on platforms 1 and 2/3 for use outside these times and for collecting pre-paid tickets. Train running information is provided by customer help points, timetable posters, automated announcements and CIS displays. Step-free access is available to all three platforms.

The Norfolk County Council timetable case situated opposite the Telephone Box in Ingworth is out of date, but much of the displayed information is still correct. Dated to commence from 5th September 2010 it gives details of Sanders service 18 with two journeys each way per day from Monday to Saturday, although a couple of the Saturday timings are slightly different to those used from Monday to Friday. Today, the current service 18 timetable continues to offer the same level of service, but due to changes introduced since 2010 all of the timings are now incorrect as apart from one later running journey the remainder run a few minutes earlier than shown. Nice to see that someone has tried to clean off the moss/mildew.
