Last Sunday evening at my neighbour river. We've just changed the clock from summer time to winter time (normal time) in the early morning on this day. Sunset time is about 5:40 pm now. Getting dark so quickly after that. Winter is approaching.

It may look like winter, but the maple trees are acting like it's Spring--it's time for tapping trees for sap that will be used to make maple syrup.
Sometimes you just have to stop and look at the beauty around you. Off in the distance is my daughter, on the beach at Point Pelee National Park. This dawn sky was so amazing, that time just seemed to stand still for one to take in this sight.
Happy to see February get here. That means Winter is almost over..;) March is usually windy but doable. The hotel prices go up at the coast starting tomorrow, soooooo no more trips to the coast for a while..;(

A long sailing day ended among the thousands of islands in Croatia.
The islands of Croatia are in total 1 246 [1], of which about fifty are inhabited and cover a total area of approximately 3 259 km²]. Islands (in Croatian: otok) are defined as those with an area greater than 1 km²; islets (otočić), if they have an area less than one square kilometer but greater than 0.01 km²; while those smaller than 0.01 km² are called rocks or rocks (hrid). According to this classification, the islands are 79 [1] and the two largest are Veglia and Cres, both with an area of 405 km²; there are 525 islets and 642 rocks [. It should be noted that the number of islands, islets and rocks fluctuates over time, due to natural and artificial modifications.

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays. This week, I’m skipping Crazy Tuesday but don’t you worry, I will be back next week !!
Mr. Teddy Bear was dreaming about vacations for a long time now… He pictured everything in his head: a palm tree, something to drink and his favourite long chair… Calm and serenity. Since the pandemic started, he was unable to travel and go on vacation… In his dream, everything was so perfect. So you can imagine, how surprised he was, when he saw someone in his favourite long chair, drinking his wine ! One day, in Mr. Teddy Bear’s dream, Mr. Clock took his place ! Mr. Clock was comfortably sitting in Mr. T’s long chair and he was enjoying himself while on vacation, taking his time, not thinking about the clock ticking… it was almost like a reminder for Mr. Teddy Bear: don’t take time for granted, go on your vacation as soon as possible, because tomorrow is never granted !!
FYI: I’m super busy my friends ! I have a huge project at work and my renovations are happening so fast that we nearly have the time to move our furniture back in place and then we have to empty another room… I will try to catch up as soon as possible !!

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a black and white day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate Sliders Sunday. Yesterday night I had my first, postlockdown, informal and very spontaneous « party » with my parents. My Dad had a computer problem and since my husband is the family's computer doctor, we had to help my father… It took a whole evening (yes it was a very serious problem but dont ask me I have no idea!!) but we had a blast. We stopped the time for few hours… The time was on our side and it seemed like it was in levitation. And of course, as we were waiting on the time to restart we had a few gin and tonics (for me) and whiskey for the other party animals with me ;-). So my picture for today is time in levitation.

It's beautiful here in Holland, MI, this time of year. The annual Tulip Time is in full swing. I took this picture 10 days ago so these tulips are probably getting past their peak. A lack of sun and time prevented me from getting back to these blossoms and shooting them in full bloom.

Life attached only to the day without being able to even think about the afternoon or the day after.
