Great Impasta Restaurant, Brunswick, Maine. Tilt Shift.
The story behind this is that yesterday morning I saw a tilt-shift photo in the photostream of my contact janet_bwdn. Later that morning, I was in a meeting with another contact, Dan Grenier, and I mentioned the tilt shift toy to him. We looked out the conference room window and agreed that the only way to take an interesting photo of the view (the absolute ugliest part of Maine Street in Brunswick) would be to use the tilt shift method. So I thought that I would test that theory. I think it worked out OK, though the view from the other side of the building (in the next photo) works much better.
Both Janet and Dan are wonderful photographers, by the way, and I encourage all to check out their photo streams.
Tilt-shift is not easy to get just right. There's a lot of tweaking involved if you want to make it perfect. Really enjoy that tiny looking bus stop in this one.
I went to London Last week for a few days with my Girlfriend Jemma. I enjoyed it so much last time, I had to go again!
I have been thinking of making a tilt shift effect photo for ages now, and I took this picture from the London Eye specially to produce this effect. I'm not to keen on this picture now, I should have waited until I was much lower down to take it I think, but practice makes perfect!

O que se faz num sábado preguiçoso? Desmancha-se uma lente soligor 135f2.8 e faz-se uma tilt-shift "à la manita". Estes são os primeiros testes. Próxima etapa: despanchar uma 28mm que por aqui anda!
Tilt/Shift effect with a Russian Hartblei 65mm superrotator lens on a Nikon D-80 Camera. No photoshop other than some color and contrast adjustment.

Took this when I got to play with a Canon tilt shift lens at a Canon/Teds event. On top of getting to use an amazing set of lenses and camera bodies I also got a prize for this shot. Pretty stoked!
Trying a Tilt Shift process in Photoshop.
I took these photos from a hill (drumlin) overlooking the city and then tried my luck with the new process. Interesting but I'm sure it will work even better with other views. It was fun playing around though.

Primeira vez que tento fazer um. Peguei um tutorialzinho rápido no Google e saiu isso aí. Não ficou do jeito que eu queria, mas para o primeiro até que tá legalzinho rs.
