When I took this picture near Skynomish river (Redmond, WA), I thought it would be suited for a tilt-shift experiment. This photo was taken with a 16-35mm lens (no tilt-shift), so I tried to apply this effect afterwards in PhotoShop.

I had a shot at the tilt-shift technique which makes real places look like miniature models.

Tilt-shiftbewerking is een methode om een foto van een gewone omgeving, bijvoorbeeld een landschap of een stadsbeeld, zodanig te bewerken dat het lijkt alsof het een foto van een miniatuurstad of een schaalmodel is.

Normalmente apenas retoco mis fotografías excepto un poco de curvas. No soy amante de efectos ni filtros de todo tipo aunque los conozco bien, pero este caso es diferente.

Estoy tratando de controlar una técnica de retoque llamada Tilt Shift que hace que mis fotos análogicas parezcan fotografías de maquetas. Quizá no he elegido bien la imagen a retocar pero bueno... es la primera, le iré cogiendo el punto.

Focal plane aligned with the track wheels. The effect is very subtle (and it's not the sharpest lens anyway, and 1/40s handheld).
