The clouds eventually lifted late morning around Govetts Leap, Bridal-veil Falls & Pulpit Rock nr Blackheath & our lodge. A few batches added to the set at different times an using a mix of cameras but mostly Canon 5DII with lenses Canon 17mm TSE, Carl Zeiss 35mm f2 and Canon IS 70-300. Some Leica DLux4 mixed in as well as some 3D images (one side only!). Minor raw balancing and some Topaz treatment.
Here are some attempts at fake tilt-shift on some of the photos I took looking down onto Hornberg in Schwarzwald.
I really like the tilt-shift effect, but the lenses are so terribly expensive. Here is my first attempt to make a FAKE tilt-shift in Photoshop. This photo was taken in Kuala Lumpur summer 2008. Please let me know what you think

I'm always amazed at the tilt shift effect I'm not sure what visual cues the brain picks up to make a normal scale photo look like a miniature.
My poor attempt at making a tilt shift. Maybe it was the size of the image or the lack of sunlight.
The shot was taken from the cliff above Mount Bonnell looking down upon the expensive million dollar homes each with its own "mini dock"

Not the best tilt shift I've done, but snapped this quick shot on the train while we were stopped. I love that Chicago skyline <3
