Normally, both these buildings would be equally in focus, used shift and tilt to move the focus purely to the right hand building. No photoshop.

After posting the previous shot of the train garden, I couldn't help but make a tilt-shift fake out of it, kinda cool.
The technique worked like a charm here! Looks like one of those really old Speed Graphics cameras :)
Tilt shift shots produced by holding a M42 lens focused to infinity loosely in front of an eos350d, then tilting until the desired object is in focus. Thanks to Tommy Oshima for the tip! :) the results are a bit hit and miss but looks pretty cool when you get it right!
I know that I love the tilt shift lens. I'm not sure if I like this particular result. This was rescued from the recycle bin.

I was playing around with making fake Tilt Shift photos in Photoshop. It works best when you're looking down, so I thought these might work. Not great, but not bad for a first attempt. :)
