Tilt shift app experiment

My experimenting with Tilt Shift Miniature Fakes continues with this picture of the Power-plant-converted-to-a-tourist-trap at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. This was taken on a cloudy day in June 05 through a dirty window, which hinders the effect, in my opinion.

I am too cheap to buy Photoshop, so I used Gimp.

I wanted to experiment with CS6's tilt shift feature some more, so I went back and found this shot of St. George from January 2, 2011. It snowed quite a few inches over night, and made for a very beautiful morning. The tilt shift feature is kind of cool. It doesn't have quite the same effect that a real tilt shift lens does, but its fun the play with.

From MOTD 2009. A shot of the car show.

Fourth of July weekend shots taken with a Canon 24mm f3.5 L Tilt-Shift mounted on my Canon EOS Rebel T2i. It was a lot of fun to play with and the lens is amazing, but the thing is huge and a bit difficult to work with.

Es mi primer intento de hacer este efecto miniatura y creo que el resultado ha quedado muy bien.

Earlier this Summer I went on an art patron trip to Seattle and Tacoma Washington. There's a whole set of photos from that trip, but this is one I chose to run through a tilt shift feature for fun ;-)
