"Hub City" is a picture of mine that went viral. I took a picture of New Brunswick, New Jersey as my plane was approaching Newark and it was picked up by several newspapers after posting it online. Here I decided to make New Brunswick look a bit smaller.
This photo series taken in Valdivia - Chile is my first attempt with the Tilt Shift technique, I am very happy with the final results :)
So I took some shots today while I was off in hopes of doing some tilt shift effects in photoshop. If you're interested in the technique, take a trip to my blog and you'll find a link there. I think I did alright for my first try.
I think this one works a little better than the city, just because the boats and rocks seems to miniaturize well... let me know what you think.
I should also mention that I got a new Manfrotto tripod from Henry's and used it for the 2 tilt shift shots. Nice having a sturdy tripod for once (as opposed to my $20 walmart jobby)

An improvised tilt-shift lens for my F4. Old lens from a 1920s pocket kodak (6x9) and a homemade bellows. The resultant photos are ... wierd ... Nonetheless there'll be a few up :0
This was a new housing estate on the outskirts of Las Vegas which I gave the mock tilt shift treatment to make it look like a model. I think the houses were not selling very well, but looking at the cars it looks like some had sold.
