This got interesting, I went for a tilt/shift look WITH a long exposure.
I have far too much time.
This is a 241 second exposure
Tilt-shift style photos are photographs of real life scenes that are made to look like miniature scale models. tiltshiftmaker.com/ - will fake it for you. Kind of neat.
Simulated Tilt Shift. This photo was taken on my HP Photosmart point and shoot in 2010. Tilt Shift is a technique I have always found fascinating but didn't know it was possible without a special lens. I am just learning. This is one of my first attempts.
Tilt shift shots produced by holding a M42 lens focused to infinity loosely in front of an eos350d, then tilting until the desired object is in focus. Thanks to Tommy Oshima for the tip! :) the results are a bit hit and miss but looks pretty cool when you get it right!
-左邊是原圖,右邊是效果。看起來超像假車模型阿!!

BOOM! View Large. For reals, do that tilt shift some justice and push the "L" key.
Shifting NA MEANNNN?!
I attended a wedding yesterday, and boy was that church beautiful. Natural light ALL day long. Thats my favorite part about my religious affiliation. Coptic and Greek Orthodox churches have the coolest whitest, biggest walls ever. As well as 1000 windows that produce the most insane window light. This couple had been together for 13 years before their marriage, there were two ceremonies. One in the church, and one Persian one at the ritz carlton (baller, i know). I had mad respect that she was holding on to her heritage with the second ceremony. I got some great pictures from both ceremonies as well as the reception that im excited to post. I guess the next week or so of uploads will just be wedding stuff, i hope you guys like it :).
5D + 45mm TSE.
Taken from 10 storeys up in a cherry picker which later broke down while me and a videographer were in it , the bucket we were in tilted at 40 degrees and jammed 18 meteres above the ground. We had to hang on for 30 minutes until technical support could get us down. This is my first crack at minaturizing a subject

testing out the Olympus E-PL3. this is SOOC, no editing done afterwards. the tilt-shift was chosen in the cameras menu.
This is a photo that I took looking out of the Columbia Tower in downtown Seattle. I then applied a tilt-shift appearance in photoshop. Note that this photo was taken at 18mm with an 18-55mm lens, not a tilt-shift lens. If I had money I would buy a tilt shift though.
I used my Canon TS-E 24mm lens to correct the perspective and put the plane of focus over the license plate and the two minifigs. Using live view on the 40D makes adjusting the focus a breeze.
Although the image was shot at f/10 @ 24mm the dof is stil quite shallow because the working distance was just over 40cm.
