Bluring on purpose for Our Daily Challenge. This is an “art filter’ built into my Olympus E-PL1 camera. I know it blurs the shot so, I thought I’d give it a go - on purpose. It works better from a greater height and more of a cityscape, but is suposed to mimic a tilt-shift lens and give the impression of a toy landscape. Fun to try, would be better in the City, but thanks for the daily challenge for reminding me I had the filter.
Rest in peace little Luna. Fell asleep in the early hours of the 30th November 2021 suddenly and unexpectedly at the very tender age of 3 years.

this is my absolute 1st attempt at faking tilt-shift photography. the 1st issue i quickly came across is that i RARELY take shots from a high pov plus with a wide angle.....so the photos i had to work with were limited. also i'm using photoshop version 7, so i had to make a couple tweaks. most of the tutorials were for CS2, so still a lot to be learned. it's a pretty neat project though and i'm looking forward to working with more!............and super excited to finally get my photoshop self-taught learn on!
if anyone has any constructive critiques, helpful hints or tricks please feel free to fire away!
Continuing my Tilt-Shift fun but in mono for this one.

My second attempt at tilt shifitng this photo. This time i've used a horizontal blur / mask as opposed to a diagonal one in the direction of the train.

Attempted a tilt shift of Bath. I found it a bit difficult due to the prominent grays and blues. Tilt shifts are generally easier with brighter colors.
Unfortunately, the people who have built the buildings in Bath over the past 1400 years have shown very little consideration for future tourists who would want to tilt shift a building. Typical short-sightedness on their part.

A combination of Tilt-shift and HDR, done in St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague.
This was my first attempt at this combination, and was shot handheld. Considering the conditions and terms i had to work with, am i pretty satisfied.

My first try with a fake tilt shift simulation in photoshop. I used a picture taken from the observation deck of Sears Tower. Even if it is far from being perfect, I kind of like the effect. The cars on the highway intersection really look like toy cars.
