Gazos Creek runs through it on the near side. Last time we were here the creek emptied into the ocean about 150 yards/meters farther south.

The Gannel Crossing is a very popular facility at low tide. I'm not altogether sure how high the water gets here but I'm not sure trying to wade across would be a good idea as there is a long sand bank to cross on the other side too.
Tide pools are rocky pools by oceans that are filled with seawater. Conditions in these pools constantly change depending on the tides, waves, exposure to sun, etc.
Water from the Bay of Fundy moves upstream in the Shubenacadie River at the Tidal Bore Interpretive Centre.
