This simply badged 'XJ6' is apparently the base model, though the original buyer did at least tick the optional extra boxes for the alloy wheels and leather interior, assuming they've not been added later on.

Montgomery's Georgian Town Hall, the finest building in Town Square. Constructed in 1748, the building has served as a market hall, a court house and a meeting place. Montgomery ('The Town of Baldwin', in Welsh), a mile from the Anglo-Welsh border, is the former county town of Montgomeryshire, encompassed by modern Powys, with a history stretching back to the Roman occupation.
I found this tiny blood sucking anthropod crawling up my leg (its on my finger in the photo).
Ticks cannot fly or jump but climb on an animal when it passes by. They may be present on their host animal, including humans, for several hours before feeding. To feed, they bite into the animal to attach themselves to the skin. They then feed on blood from the host and after five to seven days they drop off when full. Because the tick's saliva carries a natural anaesthetic, you may not notice being bitten.
Before they have fed, ticks are so small they can be mistaken for a speck of dirt or a freckle. They can be as small as a poppy seed.
After feeding, adult ticks can be the size of a small pea and become lighter in colour.
Ticks carry infections and can transmit them to humans, including Lyme Disease which if untreated can cause serious health problems.
taken from my dog's head.. I placed it next to a sigarette to show it's size.

I'm beginning to believe that everything travels in circles. You can never escape the trap once you are sucked in. But hey it could always be a good circle
Blacklegged tick nymph on pinkie. This was found on the bed after being brought in by a pet. Providing tick protection and conducting daily tick checks will protect you and your pets from contracting tick-borne diseases.

From seven feet away Erika asks me "what is that black thing next to you on the curtain?"
Its a bad year for ticks and i failed to record
them as i usually do as they are far too constant and since we've been spending the past few nice days we had in our lawn chairs it seems we have left a permanent marker that has attracted
ticks .
In the mornings my job has been to inspect the lawn chairs and two small tables for some reason the ticks climb onto.
Erika called me just to say the one day i failed to check she had found seven ticks on the chairs total 6 dog ticks and one deer tick. after that i found four more on the out door furniture yesterday we were out and i checked the chairs again and i found one a half hour later.
Erika joined me in the midday and sat down i told her i checked her chair and was good to sit in and of course the discussion was ticks .
I cant figure this out .. its very very odd . usually when i think
we have a tick bloom i go out and methodically mine sweep
the property with a butterfly net to get tick numbers and i do take time when doing so and my coverage without gaps
so not to miss as much as possible .
Time consuming sure but it usually gives me an idea how bad the season will be.
Three days ive swept the yard and no ticks were captured in the net .
Where are these fuckers coming from?
The majority of ticks have been found on lawn furniture ,one on the front stoop , Erika found one after coming in and somehow found it on the kitchen floor and i had two after coming in from outside .
So from what and where are they coming from they seem to be congregating by the garage and yet again discussing this i off the cuff mention to her saying while i sit here you would think one would see them crawling on the pavement and sure enough ole eagle eye spots one on the driveway pavement heading to a a pile of pulled doc left to die in the sun.
Its a bad year ive stopped at totals since a few days ago so
conservatively we are up to over twenty three dog ticks and five deer ticks .
We are in dire need of possum servicing here .
