Supercell Thunderstorm(s) as viewed from 41,000 feet above Colorado June 4 2015. Our plane had to change course in order to avoid the storm. These supercell thunderstorms produced tornados in Simla Colorado.

Just had the worst thunderstorm in the nearly 5 years we've lived here. Lightning strikes very close all around us. Only time I've been worried about being hit, as we live on local high ground.
At the edge of an immense thunderstorm at Tracy, CA! This was during a rare, thunderstorm event for the Bay Area, including the San Joaquin Valleys. Lightning was already encountered throughout the morning hours and soon after this shot was taken, more lightning and thunder followed while we were at Stockton, CA! (September 12, 2009)
I decided to take a video of the storm we are having here tonight, I had to put a bag over my camera so it didnt get wet... it was taken at around 10:00 P.M.

My first lightening shot. Sorry about the bad quality, that's just me using the record function on the camera because I had no way to keep a long exposure steady (no tripod)

Thunderstorm in Munich. Low light shot combined with lightning produced a very unusual sky.
It was a difficult shot to take as I had left behind the tripod.
