Seen in southern Wyoming, USA
Shot with a Fujifilm X100T. I don't know why the EXIF data have largely disappeared.
This was the only thunderstorm to form over the southern half of Wyoming today. It passed about 15 miles to my north and lasted between 3 to 4 PM. The hill in my backyard rises 10 degrees above the horizon. I see myself going up it quite often when something is brewing to my north.
The left side shows `the thunderhead convective development in supercooled phase and the right as it goes into the glacial "ice" phase. I heard just a few faint rumbles.

It was the severe thunderstorm with a huge amount of the rain and lighting. One could see some unusual cloud formation like twister.
Brooklyn, New York
Ah, the mythological Fishtown, harbor of fishing vessels serious and shrunken, waiting out the storm and the tide for further sportfishing adventures. Here, a July storm sweeps over the river and out to sea, full of lightning I didn't try to capture and the accompanying cracks and rumbles, full throated all, reminders to steer clear unless you are as I am one of those photographers who relishes standing under such a blanket of clouds and finding just the right composition while the storm plays away above your head.
This is what God told us: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life, but whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
As we enter into the 2022 tornado season over southeast Wyoming, this classic view of a tornadic thunderstorm punching through an anvil with Incus, Capillatus and Mammatus cloud formations reminds us to be on the lookout for severe weather.

A growing line of storms was mostly to the east as this flanking line built. The area was spared anything severe this day, but the next day proved to be deadly in the city of STL itself, with an EF3 ravaging through western and northern parts of the city.
